The target I had used previously was hung up inside my closet- with multiple of my new knives sticking out. Thanks to Shinsou, I'd mastered this one at least. Although my one problem with this, was it was going on throughout the night. Hours to train undisturbed? I won't be passing up that opportunity. Although it'd kinda fucked up my ability to sleep. I grabbed my school uniform out from its hangers, and quickly threw it on. Adjusting my tie, I headed out.

"Morning, L/N!" All Might beamed from the kitchen.

"Morning." I shot him a quick smile and wave before getting into the elevator. Seeing my classmates all tucking into breakfast, I made brief eye contact with Katsuki- before he quickly looked away, cheeks glowing a light pink and laser-focusing on his eggs. Well, guess I'd fucked that one up.

And of course, I had to most boring possible class first period- English.

"So, if we wanted order Takoyaki, how would we say it?" Hizashi tried to garner a response from the class. Silence. So of course....

"L/N?" I quickly snapped out of my almost-asleep state.

"Uh- can I get Takoyaki, please?" I responded in English.

"YES! Correct!" He pointed finger guns at me before continuing. And surely, my eyelids became very, very heavy...

In the wall of my room, sat a hole, roughly fist size, with pieces of drywall flaking around it. Why was I back here again? I heard banging at the door- my head snapped toward its direction.

"Y/N! Open this damn door!" The man continued to bash at the door. The lock wouldn't hold forever. What did I do to get out of it that time...?

Hastily, I pushed the window open and stuck my head out. The floor below gave away, the pavement falling into the endless crimson sky... below? The house floated away from the city as that crumbled away too- U.A. in the distance.

"OPEN THE GODDAMN DOOR!" one of the screws of the lock came loose and clattered to the floor. My eyes darted between the door and the expanse below.

Do I stay and fight?

Do I have the strength to fight him...? The bravery to potentially end his life?

Do I try to hide, as futile as that may be?

Or do I jump, into the darkness of the void?

Into an escape, albeit a probable fatal one?

Do I take a leap of faith, and face the unknown head on... Even if it kills me?

The lock falls to the floor in pieces. A beast of a man comes barrelling through the door. And I fall lifelessly, cowardly, into the sky.

"Ow, shit!!" I rubbed my head- something small and hard hit it. The rest of the class let out quiet giggles.

"You awake kiddo?" Hizashi stifles laughter from the front desk. I notice the whiteboard marker on the floor near my desk. Good throw, Mic.

"I guess I am now..." I smiled awkwardly. I felt daggers staring at me. Turning to my side, Katsuki immediately looks away from me.

"Why so sleepy huh?" Hizashi questioned.

"Uh... No idea." I fibbed. Mineta snorted from next to me before piping up.

"There were banging noises coming from your room above me all night! I should be the one falling asleep right now, y'know?" ... Oops. Guess knife-throwing is not exactly a silent activity. Now listen, I wasn't planning on stabbing the old man to death, but at least I had the option.
