Dedicated to that lucky reader who wanted a part 2. Ask and you shall receive😌 (I do wanna say though that this is a lil different. It makes sense in accordance to the previous one-shot but it might not be what you were expecting)

                  Two weeks later

"Mhm Mark”, Donghyuck moans and then his eyes fly open as he registers his mistake. “Goddamit, I meant Eric.”

The director sighs. “Take two. Say Eric this time, thank you.”

Donhyuck nods.

“Action!”

Donghyuck doesn’t hesitate to place his lips back on Marks. Just as before, he lets the kiss grow heated before letting out a moan. “Mhm Eric.”

After they finish the scene, Mark follows Donghyuck off the set, purpose obvious.

Curiosity is eating him, though he debates on whether or not he should go through with asking his question as the brunet spares him the occasional side eye as he stuffs chips and cookies from the snack table into his mouth.

Donghyuck tries to ignore Mark or at the least, look pissed off. He has an idea of why the male followed him and talking about it is the last thing he wants to do.

“You said Mark earlier so, um, were you thinking of me?”

"So what if I was?"

"Um...um, n-n-noth-er, that's fine", Mark stammers, unsure of what to do with this information.

He can't say that he wasn't hoping for this kind of response but Donghyucks bluntness throws him. Plus his attitude. It's not unusual yet Mark senses a bite in his tone that he doesn't normally have.

"Can I ask...why?"

"Am I not allowed to think of you?"

"You-you are. I just...didn't think you thought of me?" It comes out more like a question.

They're heading towards a territory too dangerous for the brunet and even if he wants to see what happens when they get there, he decides to prevent it by hurting both of them instead. “Don’t get a big head. The director said your name before we started filming so I didn’t really get a chance to switch names in my head.”

Mark nods, trying not to show how his answer is affecting him. Good thing acting is his job. “Oh, okay.”

"Need anything else?"

Mark thinks about staying longer, maybe trying to figure out if everything that happened two weeks ago was all in his head. He decides against it with a shake of his head.

It seems like Donghyuck already decided.

                          ————

The rest of filming is awkward, to say the least. Mark tries to blame it on himself—it is believable—but even the actors notice things are off.

"Cut!" The director shouts after Donghyuck messes up a scene. He walks up to them, arms out. "What is wrong with you two?"

"Nothing", they mumble in unison.

"Nothing, my ass! You two are supposed to be pretending to be in love." His eyes widen as he emphasizes the "L" in 'love'. "And you can't even look at each other."

Mark and Donghyuck stay silent as they look in separate directions, avoiding eye contact with everyone.

"Did you have a fight?"

Silence.

The director takes his attention away from the two co-stars and looks around at everyone else who's watching them.
