Jeno x Jaemin

Jaemin avoids Jeno like he's fire after that. Whenever he senses him near, he's sure to get away. Jaemin spends most of his time with his friends or in the confines of the library, trying to find information on vampire obsessions. He doesn't find much, most of it just saying what Yuta said.

Eventually, he comes across a book that looks as old as his grandfather is and actually learns new information from it. He still doesn't really understand why, the book just explaining what vampires did about it. Jaemin isn't planning to act on it so he skips over everything that isn't ignoring the obsession.

Finding nothing that can help him, he gives up and leaves the library. He hates the way he has to walk past humans just to get to his home, but he deals with it, knowing there's no other way without giving himself away.

"Jaemin!"

Jaemins eyes widen and he speeds up, needing to get out of there now. Unfortunately Jeno is too fast and catches up to him.

"I told you to stay away from me."

"Why? What even happened that day?"

"Doesn't matter, just move on with your life."

"I can't. Your eyes...I swear they turned gold. Tell me, am I going crazy?"

"No."

"Then, how did you do that?"

Jaemin stops walking and sighs. "I'm only explaining this so you'll leave me alone, okay?"

Jeno nods and walks with Jaemin to the males apartment, instantly freezing as soon as he steps inside the building.

"God, is the whole building like this?"

"I'll get you a blanket", Jaemin says instead and is sure to retrieve one as soon as they're in his apartment.

"Thank you", Jeno tells him. "Now, explain."

"You know that vampire everyone keeps talking about? The one that seduces his victims?" Jeno nods. "It's me."

"But...but...wait what?"

"We exist. We don't eat humans though. Most of us anyways."

"Most of you?"

"Vampires are mostly good but some of them are stuck in the dark side. Anyways, I was enjoying my time with you but then I started smelling your blood." Jenos eyes widen, but he somehow remains in place. "Your blood smells sweet and alluring. Imagine the most delicious thing you can think of with the most amazing smell. You're like that to me."

"That doesn't explain your eyes."

"I can put people in a trance and make them tell the truth. I was checking to see if you're a criminal or did anything heinous so I'd know if I should kill you. If you've never done anything, then the trance won't work. And that purity is part of what makes you sweet, but something about you draws me to you in a way that other vampires won't feel." Jaemins eyes meet Jenos. "I wanna taste you."

"So you don't wanna kill me?" Jeno confirms.

"No. I'd like you to be alive and fine actually. You won't be if I bite you and vampires...we're more intense than humans. Well, usually. If I spend too much time around you, smelling you, I'm gonna fall deeper into an obsession that can't be stopped until I get what I want. The only thing I'm sure can help is avoiding you."

Jeno nods. "Got it. Can I ask you a question though?"

"You want me to confirm vampire myths, don't you?" Jeno nods. "Okay, well, one, we sleep in beds. They're comfortable. Two, like I said, we don't crave humans so we eat animals and human food. We need a little bit of blood the way you should have water. We have partnerships with specific humans. We help them out in exchange for animal blood. Telling on us doesn't do anything 'cause some of you don't believe in us and you can't prove we exist. We don't have the same DNA humans do so you can't trace our fingerprints or anything. Technically, all you can do is believe your eyes."
