He could see Renjun was typing but before he could figure out what he said, a new text popped up.

I'm usually up at this time but
sometimes I sleep in

I was a little restless so then I texted
Jisung and he was up. Apparently I
fell asleep while talking to him
He sent me a picture

Chenles phone buzzes more texts appear on the screen.

I'm not really busy

As soon as he sends that, a new text from Jeno appears. Chenle does his best to balance between both, trying not to make either wait too long, but as the conversation begins to die down with Renjun, he focuses more on Jeno.

It's weird for Chenle to not prioritize Renjun, even if it's something as small as texting him first. Even before he liked him, he's always chosen Renjun. Would keep up the conversation with him, talk to him as long as possible, and then once his feelings came into the picture, he'd bring out the sweetest sides of himself. Not that he's not usually sweet but he always tried to showcase the parts of himself that are worth liking. And it did work but not the way he meant it. 

Now, he's just trying to do undo all that and maybe it could be easy, if he could just stop thinking about Renjun. 

Talking to Jeno is nice and he's a little surprised at how much he's enjoying, but he also knows how desperate he is to sink into something that has nothing to do with the male he can't get off his mind.

 After a while, he sighs and puts his phone down, only to pick it up a minute later and call Jisung.

"Yes?"

"Can you come over?"

"Sure. Are you okay?"

"I don't know."

"Should I come with food?"

"Yes, please."
