Chenle x Jisung

"You've been spending a lot of time with Jaemin, lately."

Jisung gives Chenle a look. "Say that like you don't call Mark every day. Or play games with Jeno."

"I don't go see them."

Jisung plops himself onto the couch and brings his boyfriend into his arms. "Oh yeah? And what's wrong with me seeing them?"

Sensing what he's about to do, Chenle points a finger at Jisung and glares. "I swear to God if you if you-"

"What?" Jisung asks, grinning while he tickles Chenle.

Chenle gently punches his side and gets Jisung to release him. Just to be safe, he puts some distance between them and sighs. "Fine. But make sure everyone knows you're my boyfriend."

"Trust me, everyone knows."

Chenle narrows his eyes, watching Jisung and Jaemin engage in conversation that results in the two laughing and smiling together. Jeno eyes the male and nudges him when he think he's been staring for two long.

"He's not cheating on you."

"You're right", Chenle agrees, even though not all of his heart does. The male sighs, feeling distressed. "I think I have trust issues."

"That would explain this. Jisung didn't do anything, right?"

Chenle shakes his head. "He just goes out to see Jaemin and it's usually fine but sometimes, I overthink and if I'm having a bad day or feel more insecure than usual, then I'll wonder if Jisung actually loves me."

"I'm guessing you didn't tell him this."

"I plan to."

"Do it soon. He knows to know so he can make you feel better. For now, I can give you my perspective. He loves you. If I doubted it, I would tell you and if I really didn't trust him, he wouldn't have an un-bruised face."

Chenles laughs. "I appreciate that but you know you wouldn't punch him."

"I won't, but you will."

"True."

"Can we talk?" Chenle asks softly.

Jisung nods and moves onto the couch, trapping his boyfriend in his arms. He places a gently kiss on Chenles head. "I'm listening."

"I think I need more reassurance", Chenle says softly, looking up at Jisung. "I trust you, but sometimes, it's so hard. I get these annoying thoughts about what you might be doing and when I have bad days, I wonder why you're with me and not someone else. I don't actually care if you have friends, you're allowed to do what you want but I just...I can't stop these thoughts."

Jisung brings Chenles face into his hands and kisses his nose before speaking. "I am more than happy to give you as much reassurance as you need. I love you. Why would I be with you if I wanted someone else?" He adds, almost whispering.

"I wonder the same. I just...I need this."

"That's okay. That's completely okay."

Looking at Jisung with eyes full of emotion, trying to express the love he feels doesn't seem like an ideal thing for Chenle, but he's doing it anyways, wanting Jisung to know. And maybe somewhere in the back of his mind, he thinks that loving Jisung will save them. That he'll stay. "I love you."
