Cristina told Meredith, "God. I am so tired. After the study session last night, my brain would just not shut down. I don't think I got any sleep at all."

Meredith said sincerely, "I'm sorry Cris."

Cristina slammed her locker a little loudly, "Let me guess. You slept like a baby. McSex!"

Meredith said softy, "Don't hate me because I am getting some and you aren't."

"I'm jealous! Hunt is killing me with this taking it slow thing. I.. just.. need ..some ...sex!"

Meredith laughed and asked, "Um....what about your...um...?"

Cristina said loudly, "Virbrator? You're a doctor Mer. You can say the word vibrator out loud! It's not the same!"

Everyone around them snickered and Meredith felt herself blush.[i] She glanced at Derek who winked at her and Mark who wiggled his eyebrows suggestively. Burke was frowning and Addison was laughing. She thought she was laughing. Her face was still a little screwed up from the botox.[/i]

Meredith hissed, "Cristina!"

Cristina said softer, "Well seriously Mer. All us girls look like the sleep deprived beaten down dogs that we are. And you are all perky and glowing and all a flutter."

Meredith laughed and said, "I'll come down soon. I had two chocolate éclairs and a large cannoli this morning. I am probably on a sugar high."

Cristina narrowed her eyes and frowned and asked, "Well hell. Where is mine?" [i]She had gotten used to Meredith sharing her goodies from her men.[/i]

Meredith said sheepishly, "I saved you one. I really did. But in the car...I just thought I'd take a tiny bite of it and then....well........I ate the whole thing."

Cristina laughed and said, "Bitch!"

Meredith admitted, "I was a pig."

Dr. Bailey came in the locker room at a slower pace than normal. She pointed at Burke, Yang and Grey and said, "You three. I want you to go to the conference room on two and study. The rest of you come round with me."

Burke said incredulously, "Wait. They get to round and do surgery and we have to study?"

Meredith frowned and Cristina said sharply, "That's not fair!"

Dr. Bailey put her hands on her hips and said, "No one said life was fair. But this afternoon you are going to swap out and Shepherd, Sloan and Montgomery will study while you get to hang with me."

There was muttering and groaning all around.

"Unless we have a serious situation where it is all hands on deck, you will study. Your intern exams are in two weeks. You need to spend every available minute studying for them. Believe me when you don't have to repeat your year as interns, you'll be thanking me for this opportunity! Now move it! I'll come check on you later. And I had better not catch you trolling for surgeries."

Cristina grabbed the study cards and they all walked out. Derek slid up to Meredith and said, "If you get a chance, check your phone. I put in some links for some vacation ideas." He gave her a quick wink and followed Dr. Bailey.

The three of them looked at each other. Meredith sighed and said, "Let's go study." Meredith thought,[i] crap! She was going to be stuck in a small room with Cristina and Burke for hours![/i]

Meredith was having lunch with Burke and Cristina. The study session had gone surprisingly well. They had decided to treat it as all business and used the time wisely. Meredith had gotten snacks, Cris had gotten drinks, and Preston had secured very comfortable chairs from another area. When Dr. Bailey came to check on them she was surprised to see them with flash cards testing each other.
