Addison strides in and says," God! I smell good! You know what it is? It's the smell of open heart surgery. The ER had a heart attack victim and I got to scrub in on his surgery. It's awesome. It is awesome. You gotta smell me." Addison walks over to where Meredith's locker is and get's in her face.

Meredith says disgustedly, "I don't want to smell you."

Addison stands next to her and smirks, "Oh. Yes you do. Dr. Bailey's teachers pet! You think you can hog all the good surgeries?"

Meredith snaps after a long day and turns around and grabs Addison by her lab coat and pushes her up against the lockers.

"You have got to be kidding me! Okay you dumb bitch! I have more important things to deal with than you. I have roommates, and boy problems and family problems."

[i]Addison is shocked by Grey's sudden intimidating behavior and the wild look in her eyes. And she never would have thought that Grey was so strong. She was pressing her tight up against the lockers.[/i]

"You want to act like a little bitch? That's fine! You want to take credit for your saves and everyone else's? That's fine too. Just stay out of my face!"

Mark opens the door and is astounded that Meredith has Addison pinned up against the lockers.

Meredith grabs Addison's chin and says nastily, "And for the record, you smell like crap! But then you always smell like crap!"

Meredith turns around to slam her locker and she see's Mark looking at her in shock. Mark walks into the room and motions to Addison as if to say [i]what just happened?[/i]
Addison says tearfully, "She attacked me."

Meredith turns to go after Addison again and Mark rushes between them and leads Meredith back to her locker.

Mark says to Addison, "You know you might want to leave. Before I change my mind and let her beat you to a pulp with her tiny ineffectual fists and then let her stuff you inside your locker."

Addison slinks out of the locker room [i]in shame that tiny Grey could have beaten her up if Mark had not interrupted.[/i] She starts to say a retort, but Mark interrupts her. "Addison. You have other problems. The entire hospital is watching a you tube video of you. Before and after by your first boyfriend."

Addison's face falls and she runs from the locker room in horror.

Meredith is breathing a little heavy and Mark asks, "Meri. What the hell just happened?"

Meredith bites down on her lower lip and says softy, "I just. I am just having a bad day. I'm tired and cranky and my mother, that bitchy Addison, and Derek. Derek....Derek and I had a big fight."

"It's okay Meredith. He told me. He's knows he's an ass and he's sorry."

Meredith asks hopefully, "Is he...is he still here?"

Mark shakes his head. "He left about two hours ago."

He watches Meredith's face fall and tears well up in her eyes.

"Hey. Hey little one. He is probably at Joe's waiting for you. Or better yet, he probably went home to make you a romantic dinner or something cheesy like that."

Meredith sniffed and said despondently, "He always leaves me a note in my locker or a text message on my phone."

"He's had a bad day too Mer. He talked to a woman and her child for hours about organ donation. He convinced John Doe's wife to donate all his organs and even his eyes and skin. It was bad."

Meredith nodded and asked, "Are you going home now?"

"No. I am staying over for Baldwin."

Meredith twisted her watch and asked, "Do you know if Cristina is still here?"
