Chapter 106 - What's at the end of the battle?

Vira's monster form was struck by the sword based from Midoriya's Quirk. The very moment Ranfa created it and gripped the handle, she knew it was a sword made to end all battles. It was so powerful that it blew the storm away. The monstrous form was disintegrating as it fell towards the sea. It was fading to nothingness.

Once again, Vira was being humiliated. All For One gave her Quirks to use against the girls- she even adapted Dabi's flames as her own! She should have had all the advantages to kill three people! Why did she fail?

Ranfa walked down from the diamond steps Michiyo made for her. When Vira looked at Ranfa, The diamond shards were floating around Ranfa; Vira could just barely see reflections of the three girls between each shards.

"Even that thing can synchronize with you?" 

"That 'thing' is also my sister." Ranfa didn't like it when Vira referred to Yuuki as 'that thing' because Yuuki had become someone Ranfa cherished too. Yuuki's origin might be way different from herself and Michiyo's but their bond was definitely real. If Yuuki wasn't a part of her or Michiyo, Synchronicity would not have worked.

Vira was gasping for breath. She was slowly disintegrating along with the monstrous form she had left behind. She touched her chest because her heart was starting to slow down. The black ooze that covered her private parts were also slipping off of her body, leaving her naked and bare. It was ironic; she came into this world covered in this ooze that's supposed to protect her but now it's leaving her the moment she's about to die. "What did I do wrong, Sakura Ranfa? Everything I did was to prove I am the ultimate being. I'm supposed to be above you humans. I had it all... When we first met, your friends looked at me with fear in their eyes. Michiyo was scared of me. Yet, you and Yuuki looked at me with no fear."

"Yuuki is a honey badger and the scariest part about them is their lack of fear. As for me, I was scared. I was scared you would kill my sister because she wasn't strong enough back then. I just didn't show it." Ranfa held Michiyo's hand, who had reformed next to her. The two them were standing on top of a diamond platform created by Michiyo. "Vira, people change. They overcome fear and change in order to adapt to what's standing before them. Even if your powers alone made you overcome a good percentage of people, there will always be people who will rise up against you even if the odds are against them. Humans are not that weak they will give up without a fight."

Vira tried to get up but she couldn't. She tried to pick up the black ooze that was slowly slipping through the gap of the black vines. She hopelessly tried to slather it back onto her body but it was not staying. The damage from Midoriya's sword damaged her body beyond her own healing abilities. She started to cough because diamond dusts were finally catching up with her. Fighting Michiyo earlier was not a good idea because fighting Michiyo one on one was no different to fighting a grim reaper; you will die slowly and painfully once death caught up.

"I didn't defeat you alone." Ranfa looked at her hand, "Without Yuuki, I couldn't have withstood Midoriya's sword. Without Michiyo already causing internal damage, you'd be in your best form to withstand Liberation. The three of us did this."

"Damn you...! Damn you...!" Vira was bitter than ever! This was the worst set up for her! "If only I didn't fight Michiyo...! This fight is cheap...!"

Seeing Vira this frustrated and deeply rooted in within the obsession to kill her, Ranfa, and Yuuki, it made Michiyo wonder if all this was worth fighting for. "Is the title of perfection that important, Vira? That you spend your days thinking hard how to kill us? Have you ever thought about what you like to do if you did achieve your goal?" 

Vira looked at Michiyo and then she looked down at the black vines that was slowly disintegrating to ashes as blue fires started to use the black vines as kindling.
