Ranfa noticed Midoriya was here too. Midoriya was here because Hagakure called him over and also because Midoriya was worried about Aoyama since he noticed Aoyama seemed troubled about something. Midoriya saw Aoyama as a friend but Ranfa never really connected with Aoyama. She thought he was just a flashy idiot with a useless Quirk but she kept that to herself in order to maintain harmony within the class. Now that she's hearing the conversation between him and his parents, she had every rights to feel angry as it meant this whole time all the tribulation was because of him.
The chain of events led to so many painful butterfly effect. It made Ranfa break down so many times, it made Michiyo cry and doubt herself, and it made Yuuki fight through odds that were against her. Seeing the trigger for all of the painful events made Ranfa laugh in irony. She thought it was misfortune or that the villains were this clever...but it turned out there was a traitor among them.
Seeing Midoriya was painful for Aoyama because they were the same; cursed with being Quirkless, destined to be different and stick out like a sore thumb. Only difference was, Midoriya was blessed to walk on the path of a Hero whereas Aoyama was cursed to walk on the thorny path of a villain's puppet.
Aoyama cried as he tried to help his parents escape. He couldn't be a Hero anymore, right? But at the very least he could be his parents' Heroes and save them from all this, right?
Ranfa touched her heart, about to activate Resonance! She was about to step in but Midoriya and Hagakure stopped Aoyama before anything bad escalated. The situation was already bad, it didn't need to get any worse than this.
...
Hearing Aoyama was the traitor along with the class, Michiyo and Yuuki were shocked. Michiyo assumed Aoyama was an oddball so she never suspected anything strange with Aoyama. Yuuki didn't care for Aoyama because her attention was always on Bakugou. The three girls never bothered to look at Aoyama's way because he did well not to stick out like a sore thumb. Hearing he's the U.A. traitor, shock washed over Michiyo. "Who would have thought someone who could laugh with us, fool around in class, happily eat lunch together could be the one to harm us?" She just simply never noticed a thing.
How about Yuuki though? "I mean, you couldn't have asked for a refund? I hope your parents didn't pay for your Quirk; I'd be annoyed if I received a free Quirk that kept making me hug the toilet for dear life."
"You're not helping, you dumbass honey badger!" Bakugou reprimanded Yuuki on the spot! What was she thinking making a dumb comment now of all times?! Sure, it helped lift the tension slightly, but now was not the time!
Yuuki thought Bakugou didn't get what she meant. "It's like a snake poking out of a tight hole. It's so tight it couldn't slither back inside so the only way is out. Aoyama's Quirk is like that!"
"I'm not asking you to explain yourself, I'm telling you to shut the fuck!"
The police wanted to know if the parents could provide any information about AFO but it seemed like all communications were one-sided; the parents and Aoyama could only dread about the next order. There was no way for them to communicate with AFO. And even if they did try to get help. AFO would have killed them. Fearing for their own livelihood, they had no choice other than to keep quiet and become the villain's puppet.
"I...could have been responsible for everyone's death. I laughed along with you guys, pretending to be your friends. I found myself laughing with you guys. When I found out my actions caused Ranfa-san to dirty her hands, forcing her to kill that villain back at camp, I've always felt terrible. If I didn't tell the villains where we were for camp, Ranfa-san wouldn't have suffered the way she did. I had no choice but to keep my mouth shut. I've watched her fall into despair and I did nothing. I couldn't tell her it was actually my fault." That's why he had no choice but to pretend Ranfa's actions were challenging ethics. He had to play the same role as everyone in order to conceal himself. "When I found out Midoriya-kun was once Quirkless like me but now shoulders heavy task of fighting AFO, I fell further into despair of my own pathetic state. Instead of worrying about him, I despaired over myself. I'm rotten to the core...Aoyama Yuga is a villain by nature."
