Park Chaeyoung has never been to a concert before, a fact leaving her partly embarrassed when she needed to give a call to her older sister about, asking about the dress code. Alice Park laughed out loud for a good 2 minutes, seeing her sister at such a state.

Initially, she'd declined his offer.

Park Chaeyoung was good with people but loud music and crowds were not something that appealed to her, especially on the few days off she'd had where she could be resting in a nice hotel over netflix. But Jeon Jungkook wouldn't take no for an answer, and perhaps—a part of her enjoyed his determination. The following day, she'd received a text from his manager and before she knew it, she was being picked up in a black SUV to the venue with a glass of champagne in her hand.

Somehow, she feels nervous.

Even the alcohol in her system cannot end the unending butterflies in her stomach.

She's being expertly escorted backstage by his manager before entering what she assumes is a green room, somewhat chaotic yet organised with people with tags running around from makeup artists, to production staff and some familiar, tall figures from afar.

The Bangtan Boys.

"Are you Rosie?"

She turns her head to see a tall Korean man who she recognises as Kim Namjoon (from the flight, as well as the quick google search she'd done after meeting Jeon Jungkook for the first time).

At the sound of her name she watches as the other boys gather around, wide smiles as though they were up to mischief. It was overwhelming, to be straight.

"Uh—" she takes a deep breath before bowing slightly, "... hi my Korean name is Park Chaeyoung but my friends call me Rosie, but whichever is more comfortable for you is fine."

"Jungkook won't stop talking about you," Park Jimin comments, "... we're glad you're finally here he's just getting last minute alterations to his outfit in the other room, he'll be a minute."

Has he mentioned her to his members?

A part of her is surprised.

"Thank God you're finally here," Min Yoongi adds, "... it's all cute for the first five minutes until you're stuck in a car ride for him in Paris traffic and hearing Rosie this, Rosie that—no offence I'm sure you're a great girl but a silent ride would be great y-know?"

She giggles at the other man before hearing them being called by what she presumes is another staff member.

"Sit down anywhere, we'll call Jungkook to come whenever he can," Kim Seokjin comments, "... thanks for coming by the way, make yourself at home."

Moments later she hears a familiar voice from afar.

"Rosie you're here!"

She turns, seeing him.

He looked different.

His hair was curled and parted to the side, wearing leather jeans that practically clinged onto every limb below his waist and a dark button up shirt (barely buttoned) that formed a wide v across his chest. Underneath, she could see pieces of leather, a harness underneath. She blinks in surprise.

"Jungkook," she barely manages to talk, confused about whether to look at his bare chest or face, "... your outfit is quite—"

Unpractical.

He chuckles deeply, "... it's just for stage, don't worry I don't walk around like this usually. Do you not like it?"

Honestly, Park Chaeyoung does not know what to think.

"Did you get here okay?" He breaks her from her confusion.

She nods, "... your manager picked me up."

"That's good, during the show you can stay with him and watch from the special area. They're the best seats in the house—and far from people too so you can get the full experience," he tells her.

She simply nods before he's being pulled away by the staff. From the distance, she can see him talking to his manager and pointing to her.

Moments later his manager comes and escorts her to the private area.

Jeon Jungkook cannot help but feel extra nervous, knowing that she was watching. He made sure to put all his effort into his singing and dance and doing all he can to have a glimpse at her whenever possible. He could see that she was enjoying herself, chatting with his manager and bobbing her head to beat of their songs and at times, even wrapping her fingers around her mouth to cheer.

Cute.

He doesn't know why, but he's extremely drawn to her.

At the end of the show, he quickly rushes to take a shower, telling his members to look after her. They tease him, but oblige. When he returns, he's horrified to see them gathered around the couch, showing her embarrassing pictures of him.

Pictures of him drooling while asleep on tour last year.

Another when he'd fell on stage.

A video of him sleep talking.

"Hyungs!"

Hyungs 1, Jungkook 0.

He rushes over and snatches the device from them.

"Don't worry Rosie, we'll send you the pictures when he's not around," Kim Taehyung tells her, "... we have plenty of them."

She giggles, before turning to him.

"You're so cute when you're tired."

I'm not cute, I want you to think I'm handsome!

When it's time to go home, he makes sure that he's sharing a care alone with her.

"What did you think of the concert?" He questions her curiously.

"It was good," she tells him, turning with a flare of gleam in her eyes, "... when we went out last night you were a lot different to how you were on stage, it's quite attractive to see that versatility."

Hyungs 1, Jungkook +10000.

He thinks he can die in peace.

"I'm glad, I saw you in your element so I thought it'll only be fair if you'd see me in mine," he tells her.

Just as he drops her off at the lobby, he can't help but ask, not caring if he seemed desperate.

"Can I see you again?"

She accepts.

"But I'm being called in for a flight to Dubai in two days, so maybe tomorrow? Or will you be too tired?" She asks, obviously concerned for his health.

"I'll pick you up at 11am!"

He cannot waste the opportunity!

-

Park Chaeyoung feels stupid when she waits in the hotel lobby from 10:45am only for it to be 11:30am and to see that he was indeed, no where to be found.

She's about to head back into her room when she gets a call from an his number.

Was she allowed to be angry?

When she picks up, an unfamiliar voice is on the other end.

"Hi is this Rosie? This is Namjoon, we met last night, Jungkook's friend. I don't know how to tell you, but Jungkook can't come—he's been vomiting all morning. He just came back from the clinic and he's trying to go, but we don't think he's in any condition to go out. The doctor too said that he should rest. He's so, so sorry, Rosie."
