Park Chaeyoung and Jeon Jungkook have collectively decided that it would be best to keep their relationship a secret, at least until they've dated for a full year. It wasn't necessarily the case that Park Chaeyoung was ashamed of him, but more because it was the first she'd felt so strongly for someone, and the first time she'd ever dated an idol. She was scared that if somehow, things didn't work out—that it'll be an awkward time for both groups down the line. Jeon Jungkook was hesitant at first, but respected his girlfriend's decision.

He could wait.

She was worth the wait.

He admits, he also kind of finds it exciting date in secret, having to rush to the bathroom to read her message wishing him good luck, or the way she'd get angry because she thought her boyfriend was looking too hot for the world to see in the award show.

Park Chaeyoung was a very cute girlfriend.

Then was the way they'd exchange secret glances in parties and award shows and the way he'd gently reach for her hand under the table, seeing as her cheeks flushed red in timidness.

He thinks she'd the most incredible yet adorable woman in the world.

Adorable, but frighteningly attractive.

Park Chaeyoung had some sort of gravitational pull when it came to people, and with her newfound softness, many of the other male idols were beginning to notice and would begin to flock around her, making shameless small talk. Of course, she was polite and would never bend over and flirt for them, but seeing them so openly seek her caused for a burning feeling under his skin.

He hated it.

Jeon Jungkook wishes to simply go over there and wrap his arms around her waist and to kiss her, properly. But he also knows that she's not really ready and he did all that he could, not to show his jealousy to her but when she was practically the centre of attention in the afterparty, sharing almost a little too much skin, he couldn't help but feel annoyed. A part of him wanted to just take off his coat and throw it on top of her and call it a night, but he couldn't.

He had to control himself.

The pair had decided earlier on to meet at the parking lot a few minutes apart but when Park Chaeyoung leaves first, wearing so little, he doesn't care for the rules. He rushes out—not saying goodbye before holding out his coat to her.

"Jungkook," she's obviously surprised by the gesture, "... people can still see—"

"It's cold, you'll get sick. What were you thinking wearing this in this weather?" He sounds annoyed.

She has to surpress her giggle.

"I thought you loved this dress on me, you said it looked nice this morning when I showed you," she makes sure to pout her lips slightly, blinking her eyes at him, "... you don't like it?"

"I like it, I like it too much, that's the problem. I shouldn't have let you out of the house wearing it."

Park Chaeyoung believes that she has the cutest boyfriend in the world.

"Are you dating Jungkook?"

Park Chaeyoung choked on her kimchi-jjigae the following morning at the sudden words from Lalisa Manoban, leading to shocked gasps to resound from the other two girls.

"Really?" Jisoo Kim questions.

"I knew it!" Jennie Kim explains.

"No, I'm not! I don't know where you heard that from!" She defends, unable to control her face from turning red, "... we're just friends."

"You left your wallet at the party so I ran over to give it back last night, but you were busy wearing his coat and heading to his car and giggling like a teen—" Lalisa Manoban explains.

"Okay stop I was not!"

"Well you definitely had love hear eyes all over him," she adds on.

"It was dark, you couldn't tell!"

"So it's true?" Jisoo Kim confirms amid their bickering, "... how long?"

"Well," Lalisa Manoban surprisingly interrupts, "... why don't we ask him ourselves. After everything I saw, I called him to confirm and told him to come, he should be arriving soon with his group mates."

Park Chaeyoung is screwed and she looks to Jennie Kim who is simply laughing at everything that was happening.

Jeon Jungkook feels especially awkward as both groups gather around the living room. The other boys didn't know about their relationship yet and were somewhat confused and when he looked to his girlfriend, she could see that she was extremely nervous.

"It'll be okay," he manages to whisper as he heads to the bathroom, which Park Chaeyoung graciously shows him the way to, "... I'll protect you."

Although, the dorm was not new to him. He often stayed the night when all the other girls had schedules.

"I know," she lets out a sigh, "... I love you."

He pauses, "... say that again."

"What? I always tell you—"

"It's the first time you've said it first," he informs you, "... I love you too."

When the pair finally emerge from the bathroom, they stand out the front before looking to each other and interlocking their hands together.

"Hi everyone, as you may realise now," Jeon Jungkook begins, "... Chaeyoung and I have been dating for five months now."

"I knew it! You owe me $100!" Jung Hoseok comments to Min Yoongi, "... he kept asking about what she was texting us, he was totally jealous."

"We were going to tell you guys, but just wanted to wait until it was really serious first," Park Chaeyoung continues, "... we're sorry if it hurts you."

"So are you?" Jennie Kim questions, "... serious?"

He nods.

"You better be, cause if you hurt our girl we will not hesitate to cut your balls off," Jisoo Kim comments without hesitation.
