Jeon Jungkook feels content with life. When he came back to the dorm, all the other boys noticed the smile across his face and he didn't need to even speak before Kim Namjoon asks him for confirmation.

"Both of you are perfect for one another, I'm glad you guys figured it out in the end," Kim Taehyung chimes in, "... and however we can, we'll always support you."

"Don't worry about the fans too much, at least not now," Min Yoongi adds, "... just enjoy what you two have."

He thinks he's grateful—a career that he loves, group mates who truly knew and cared for him, family that was safe and healthy and the love of life right beside him.

"So I'm guessing this means we can turn your room into a gaming room right since you'll be spending more time in your apartment now," Park Jimin comments, causing for the other boys to erupt in laughter.

Not even a week passes and Park Jimin's prediction becomes true, his apartment is fully stocked with food and toiletries. The boys turn his room into a gaming room, indeed.

Jennie Kim admits that she was quite hesitant at first, not necessarily because she didn't like him, but mainly because she didn't want to see her best friend hurt. She saw the worst of Park Chaeyoung—days of vomiting and crying over him and the way the brightness left her eyes. When Jeon Jungkook came to the dorm with roses, she wasn't sure about how she felt and when she asked him about the sasaeng, there didn't see much progress legally.

So what was stopping him from hurting her once again?

But then, Park Chaeyoung came home and her face lit up and the way he looked at her was undeniably out of love.

Usually, Park Chaeyoung would stay behind in the studio or practice room till late morning, but tonight, she comes home with the other girls. Jennie Kim knows it can only mean one thing—they were going on a date.

"Where is he taking you tonight?" Jennie Kim asks as she makes her way to the other woman's bedroom, sitting by the bed and she watches as Park Chaeyoung does light makeup on the vanity table.

"I'm not sure but he said to wear something comfortable," she responds, a bright smile across her lips, "... do I look okay, unnie?"

Jennie Kim stands up before pinching her on the cheek, "... Jeon Jungkook is a lucky bastard. Wear something warm, it's cold outside."

When she's finished with her makeup, the sound of the door bell causes for Park Chaeyoung to gasp in shock.

"I haven't picked my outfit yet!"

Jennie Kim chuckles before walking out of the room, "... I'll buy you some time."

When she reaches the living room she sees Jeon Jungkook with a bouquet of flowers and a box of chocolates which he hands to Lalisa Manoban. Seeing her, he bows his head and says hello.

"Don't take her for too long, we want quality time with her too," Jennie Kim pouts slightly, "... are those chocolates."

He nods, "... Chae told me that you girls like them so I thought I'd get some before picking her up. Is she here?"

"She's getting dressed, she'll be a minute," Jennie Kim notifies, "... were are you guys going?"

"Amusement park," he looks hesitant to reply, "... don't worry I rented the whole venue and there's a lot of security. Plus the staff have signed contracts for confidentiality."

"Be careful," Jisoo Kim chimes in, a slight feeling of relief over Jennie Kim's face to see that the other girls had the same worries, "... please look after her properly, Jungkook."

-

"Go to sleep, I'm sure she'll be home soon," Lalisa Manoban sees Jennie Kim sitting in the living room when she heads to the kitchen the get some water, "... she's with Jungkook, she's in good hands."

As soon as the words leave her mouth, she gets a call on her phone from Park Chaeyoung, who's voice in incoherent between crying and coughing. Jennie Kim can hear ambulance sirens in the background. It takes a few moments for her to calm her down before she manages to make out a few words.

She looks up, "... Lisa call Jisoo, Chaeyoung and Jungkook are heading to the hospital. We need to go now."

When the girls arrive, the other six boys are waiting outside with Park Chaeyoung who wears purple bruises and fresh red wound cuts across her arms and forehead. Jennie Kim runs over, hugging the other girl before frowning, seeing the clear marks across her entire face. Her face seems pale and tears continue to run down her face.

"What happened? Are you okay?" She looks around at the other boys, "... where is Jungkook?"

"He—he fell down and they said he broke some ribs and potentially damaged some organs, they can't tell for sure. They're operating on him right now," Park Chaeyoung comments, "... this is all my fault."

"Don't say that," Kim Namjoon chimes in, gently placing his hand on her shoulder, "... it was just the sick sasaeng."

"She's still running around?" Jennie Kim is clearly furious, "... how the heck has she not been sent to jail yet!"

"Unnie—"

"How did this happen?" Lalisa Manoban questions, "... I thought security was tight, tonight?"

"There was access from the toilet, I went to wash my hands and then I was attacked. Jungkook heard me and came, and when he tried to come in and block the hit, he slipped and fell," Park Chaeyoung informs her.

"But the girl, she's been caught?" Jisoo Kim questions.

Park Chaeyoung nods, "... she's in police custody now."

"Chaeyoung, don't blame yourself. It's not your fault at all," Min Yoongi says, "... Jungkook would be upset to see you like this. Just pray for him."

Park Chaeyoung doesn't sleep that night, sitting in the waiting room even until morning. The staff in the hospital told her to come back in the next morning, but she refused.

When the boys come to visit in the morning, they see her asleep in the waiting room chair, hands still tight in a praying position.

Later in the afternoon, the girls get a text that Jeon Jungkook is awake and that the surgery was successful. She texts them that she'll be spending time off in his apartment, until he's fully healed.
