Y/N's POV

The next few weeks were very stressful. I did my best to avoid everybody like I promised myself. I would but it was painful seeing my friends stare at me with concern in the corner of my eye. I've also been doing more lessons with Draco. So far he was able to enter my mind every lesson and seen too many personal memories. One being seeing the fire that destroyed my home and killed my parents. And another memory being my father teaching me how to ballroom dance when I was only six years old. And every time Draco and I have a lesson, it always feels...different. I'm not exactly sure hot to describe it other than the fact that we don't exactly argue or insult each other like we used to...now it only feels like snarky jokes or comments we make to ease the obvious tension in the room. I don't know what it is about Draco but, he's definitely not the same boy I met when we were only eleven. He's definitely changed. I wish I could figure out why. I wish I could enter his mind and figure out what's driving this boy to help me with a problem he wouldn't have cared about three years ago.

One day, I was keeping to myself in the library when I was secretly passed a note. I ignored it for a good few minutes but due to temptation, I couldn't resist. I grabbed the envelope and opened it. It was Harry's hand writing. It said:

Dumbledore told me about your vision. I had a dream almost just like it except it was with Voldemort and Wormtail and someone else I didn't recognize. Someone died in that dream as well. It's not the same dream but, maybe they're connected something. I told Sirius about it and he told me something important that I think you should consider: Keep your friends close
~Harry

I sighed and crumbled up the piece of paper. Since it contained personal information I waited until later so I could throw it in the fireplace in the Slytherin common room.
That night I had another lesson with Draco in the Astronomy tower. I made sure I was not late just because Draco was always late or as he would call it "fashionably late."
I was leaning over the rail of the astronomy tower and staring out at the castle. "
"--You're not planning to jump, are you?" came a voice. I turned around and saw Draco. I sighed and looked back at him.
"From all the times you've entered my mind, I just might," I said with a huff. Draco chuckled.
"Yeah, well let's skip out on that tonight. I want to try something different today," said Draco. I turned around and looked at him.
"What did you have in mind?" I asked.
"Well, for one. I was thinking we should take a walk to the Black Lake," Draco replied.
"Why? We'll get in trouble," I said as I shook my head. Draco chuckled.
"No we won't. Filch is too busy in his office and the prefects just finished their rounds. We'll be fine," Draco said, dismissing me with a wave.
"What about the ghosts and the paintings?"
"--Relax, Blackbird. We'll be fine. If not I'll let you slap me," Draco said as he crossed his arms and smirked at me.
"I'd slap you even if we didn't get in trouble," I said, crossing my arms. "Though a walk would be nice," I mumbled.
"--Great. Let's go then."
And before I could do or say anything, Draco grabbed my hand and led me down the stair case.
"Draco, what are you doing?" I hissed.
"Taking out to the Black Lake," Draco said in a "duh" voice.
"No shit but, why do you feel the need to hold my hand?" I asked.
"Because you're slow, now come on if you don't want to get caught," Draco urged as he pulled on my hand, urging me to go faster. I groaned and quickened my pace.
We made it down all the hallways, the staircases, and the corridor before we made it out of the castle and into the courtyard. We ran across the courtyard and out into the field, towards the black lake. We made it all the way to the dock. I stopped and bent over, placing my hands on my knees and started to pant.
"Someone's out of shape," Draco said with a chuckle.
"I just hate running," I panted. "What are we doing here anyway?" I asked as continued to catch my breath.
"Oh, I thought that this would be a good time to go for a swim," Draco said with a smirk. I stiffened and looked up at him.
"Don't you dare!" I scolded as I started to back away from the dock. Draco smirked and then started to run towards me. I screamed and made a run for it. I made it halfway out into the field before I felt a pair of arms grab me by the waist and throw me over the shoulder.
"You better put me down this instant or I'll scream so loud that it'll wake everybody up," I yelled as I started to punch at his back.
"It'll be hard to scream with water in your mouth," Draco chuckled. Then before I could do or say anything I felt an extremely cold sensation take over my body. Draco Malfoy really did throw me into the water and I was going to get my revenge.
