Demi's POV
I woke up to the sound of my alarm blasting my single Neon Lights. Dani must've changed it because she knows I think it's weird to listen to my own songs. I mean if it came on on the radio I would jam to it but not for my alarm but it did wake me up. I shut it off and looked to see Dani still asleep I smiled and slowly get out of bed. I get ready for the day ahead of me. I looked in the mirror again and decided I needed to change my hair but to what?? Oh well I'll decide when I get to the hair salon. I leave a note for Dani saying that she is allowed to go out and do whatever she wants as long as she takes someone with her. I drove over to the salon as I walked inside my stylist greeted me. "Hey Demi changing your hair again?" She says casually "yea but I just don't know to what. I want to do something fun and something to go along with the theme of my tour" I say "Well I'm sure whatever you choose will look great on you" she says " yea hmmmm ooohh what about this?" I say pointing to a picture in the album of hair styles she gave me. "That would look great on you! Excellent choice Demi!" She says I smile and tweet out to my lovatics that I'm changing my hair. That made my phone go off like crazy. Oh how I love messing with them.
Dani's POV
I woke up to a cold bed I shivered and turned over to where Demi's warm body usually would be but to my suprise I find it empty. "Ugh guess I better wake up" I say to myself. I get up and pull on a graphic tee and black skinny jeans with some black converse. "Demi?" I say As I walk downstairs to find an empty house. I walk over to the table to find a note.
Hey babygirl,
I decided to change my hair again so I'm at the salon. Help yourself to some
Breakfast and go do whatever teenagers do but make sure you have someone with you. Well I love you and be back before dinner.

"Again seriously Demi your hair is going to fall out" I say laughing. I serve myself some cereal and decided to go to the mall since I'm going on tour I'm going to need some new clothes. Hmm let's see who's free. Marrisa? No she's probably out with friends. Joe? No he would whine the whole time. Fifth Harmony? No they...wait they are Teenage girls like me who are also getting ready for tour yes they will probably take me! I smile as I take my phone out and text Lauren.
D:Hey are you guys doing anything today?
L: No whts up?
D: Do you want to take me to go tour shopping?
L:YESSSS!!! I'll tell the girls well be there in 10
D: okay see ya later then
I went back up to my room to fix my hair. I also apply a little bit of make up knowing there will probably be paps there. I grab some sunglasses as I hear the doorbell. "I'm coming!" I say running down the stairs. I swing the door open to be greeted by the fifth harmony. "Hey guys" I say hugging them. "Hey cutie so are you ready to go shopping?" Camila says "hell yeah!" I say they all laugh as we get in the car. "Hey can I blast some music?" I ask "yea sure here plug your phone in" Ally says giving me the Aux cord. I plugged it into my phone and started blasting some Demi. "OH OH OH I REALLY DON'T CARE!!!" We all song as we pulled into the parking lot. "Dani check for paps" Ally says I nod and look out my window "No creeps in sight" I say As they laugh at my choice of words. We all get out of the car and head into the Mall. "Okay so where do you want to go first Dan?" Lauren asks "Hot Topic!" I say "Okay let's go then" Normani says "yessss!!!" I say As we go on the escalator to go to the second floor. I was the first one inside I was a regular so I basically knew everyone who works there. "Hey Dani you're back!" Jack the manager says. He had tattoos that covered his body and a lip percing. "Hey jack!" I say giving him a high five. I could see that the girls were confused so I decided to introduce them. "Girls this is Jack the Manager,Jack this is Lauren,Ally,Normani,Dinah and Camila from fifth harmony" I say "Nice to meet you jack" Ally says smiling "likewise girls. Listen if you guys need any help finding what you need I'll be behind the counter. See ya later kid" He says ruffling my hair and going behind the counter. "How do you know the manager of Hot Topic?" Ally asks "I'm a regular around here most of my wardrobe I bought in this very store." I say "oh okay so show us around" Lauren says "okay well I don't really know my way around the store since they change it every week but whatever you do Do Not under any circumstances ever go to the back unless you want to be stripped of your childhood." I say they all laugh. "I'm serious guys I've been there done that and never doing it again. The things I've seen can't be unseen. I wouldn't even step foot in here for a whole month once I found out what was back there." I say "Okay then let's look around then." Dinah says I nod I bought a bunch of wristbands,a black shirt that said I like my music LOUD in red letters,some pins and a lanyard to put my badge in for tour. "Okay you got everything you wanted?" Ally asks "yea almost just let me ask jack about a special order I placed last time I was here" I say As we head to the counter. "Are they ready?" I ask him "yea there you go kid" He says handing me two hoodies and a beanie. The beanie was white and had Lovato in black letters. Both hoodies were black with white letters one said Don't touch me unless you're Demi and the other said Rather be listening to Demi
"Thanks I love them Jack how much?" I ask "Don't be ridiculous Dan consider it a tour gift" he says "Thanks man well see ya after tour" I say hugging him. We start to head to Forever 21 as I promised the girls could pick out some outfits for me. "Here ya go" Camila says handing me a pink summer dress. "Thanks but desses aren't my thing. My style is more like a mix between badass teen and edgy rock sorta like Demi back in her teen years." I explain putting the dress on the rack. "Oh come on just try it on for me please!" She says giving me a puppy dog face. Don't give in Dani look away. "Okay fine!" I say "yay!" She says like a child "you're lucky I love you" I say going to change into the dress. I look in the mirror and I instantly felt disgusted at what I saw. I pushed those feelings to the back of my mind and went out to the girls. They all turned to look at me "awww you look so cute!!" Camila says "Thanks Mila can I take it off now?" I say "yes but I am so getting it for you" she's says I roll my eyes "fine go ahead" I say As I head back in the changing room. We get a couple more outfits and stuff when I got a call from Demi. "Guys shhh it's Demi" I say answering it.
D:Hey Dems what's up?
De:Hey babygirl where are you?
D:the mall with the Fifth Harmony girls getting some stuff for tour
De: okay well when you're done come back home okay I want to show you my new hair
D: okay Dem see ya later love you
De:love you too!
"What did she want?" Ally asks "she just wanted to know where I was and to come once we are done so she can show me her new hair" I explain "oh wait she dyed her hair again?" She asks "yup for like the millionth time" I say exagerating. She laughs "well we should probably get you home" she says I nod as we pay for the last of our stuff and head back to the car. "See you guys when the tour kicks off" I say "see you then Dan!" I hear them say as I head inside. "Whoa your hair is pink!" I say "No actually it's NEON pink" she says i roll my eyes at her."only you Demi" I say "I'm gonna go put these upstairs" I say heading upstairs to our room. "Hey can we talk about tour" Demi says "sure" I say sitting on the bed "look we are going to New York on this tour." She says my eyes go wide "No we can't" I say. "Relax baby its going to be okay. I'm going to be there and so is joe." She reassures me. "Okay but if something does happen-" she cuts me off by saying "there's nothing to worry about I won't let anything happen to you." She says but looks down. "There's something you're not telling me" I say "Don't worry you don't need to know just start packing." She says. There's only one other time she's said something to me like that. I was 9 and she was 17.
Flashback
I was in my room on my ipod when I see Demi come in and she looked kinda upset. "Demi what's wrong?" I ask "Nothing I'm fine" she lied "Demi don't lie to me just tell me" I say "No Dani you're too young to understand I'm fine baby" she says "No you're not Demi!" I say getting angry. "Yes I am I'm absolutely perfectly fine." She says with a fake smile. "WOULD YOU STOP FUCKING LIEING TO ME DEMI I'M TIRED OF YOU ALWAYS SAYING 'YOU'RE FINE' WHEN YOU'RE OBVIOUSLY NOT!" I yell at her "Dani look you don't need to know just go back to listening to music. I'm going to the bathroom I'll be out in a bit and I'll fix you up some dinner okay?" She says I sigh in defeat "fine" I say sitting back down before I put my music on I hear Demi say "I'm sorry..." before she went into the bathroom. I just shrugged it off thinking it was nothing. I put Don't Forget.
That was the night that I found out about Demi self harming. I found her in the bathroom with blood coming down from her wrist I was shocked by the scene but I helped her clean her wrist. I made her promise to tell me if something was bothering her. But now back to reality. "Demi I know something is up now spill." I say she sighs and runs her fingers through her hair. "Your biological father has a daughter" she says I furrowed my eyebrows "okay and?" I say "and she's a lovatic and it's one of the girls who used to bully you" she continues "who?" I ask "Heather" she says my eyes widen as the memories of all the horrible things she said and did to me. "Shhh Dani it's okay I won't let them hurt you" Demi says wrapping her arms around me. "Demi you don't understand when Heather wants something she gets it and she wants me dead and so does my biological father." I say "Well as long as I'm here nothing is going to happen." I say "promise?" I ask with tears in my eyes "I promise baby" she says kissing my forehead. Once I calmed down Demi put on some tv. We fell asleep in eachothers arms I hope nothing ruins this I just want to be in her arms forever and I'll do whatever it takes to keep it that way.
