Demi's POV
We've been at the hospital for weeks now it seems. I have been an absolute wreak since the incident. Joe the girls and I haven't left Danis side. She's still unconscious but according to the doctor she should be waking up soon. "Demi you need to eat" Joe says trying to convince me to go to the cafeteria with him. "No I'm not leaving her again" I say "Demi you won't be leaving her. You'll be right back." He says "Demi you need some air we'll watch over her" Ally says I shake my head "No I'm staying right here until she wakes up." I say "Okay want me to bring you back something?" He asks "no I'm fine" I say "cereal it is" he says heading out of the room. The girls followed behind him except for Lauren she decided to stay. I grabbed one of Dani's hands and held it tightly. "It must be hard." Lauren says looking up from her phone "you have no idea. Dani means everything to me. I can't believe that the second I let her go out by herself that little bitch decides to jump her" I say "I know but hey she a fighter and she'll get through this" she says I nod and just as she said that I felt someone squeeze my hand. "Oh my god she's waking up" I say As Lauren hits the doctor button. "What's happening?" Doctor smith asks as he walks in the room. "She's waking up" I say "Okay I need you to try to get her to open her eyes" he says looking at me. I nod and kneel next to her.
Dani's POV
"Dani baby if you can hear me please try to open your eyes" I heard someone say I opened my eyes then closing them again but then opening them. As they adjust to the light I turn to see Demi. "Mom?" I say "yes baby its me" she says climbing into the bed I snuggle up to her side. "How do you feel?" She asks "like shit" I answer she laughs "wait you called me mom that's the first time you've called me that since we told you" she says "Well it kinda slipped" I say "well you have no idea how long I've been waiting for you to call me that" she says smiling "okay what am I missing" I hear Lauren say behind me I look at Demi and she explains the whole thing to her as well as the rest of the girls when they came back with Dad. Whoa even in my head that's new. "Well I'm just glad that my princess is safe" Dad says "yea me too" mom says "you should get some rest babygirl we Leave for New York soon" I nod and lay my head on her chest as she hums believe in me and soon I fall asleep
