Danis POV
Flashback
I was six it was one of dads worst nights. He was punching and kicking me over and over. "Daddy stop please" i say as i cried. "Shut up bitch." he says he pinned me against the wall without thinking i said "i wish you would die."  he laughed "Thats not how it works sweetie but if that did ever happen as soon as im dead."  he says taking out his pocket knife and made so like he was gonna stab me in the head but really it was inches from my face i turned to face the knife. "Your Next" he said in my ear. i just stood there frozen so he did whatever he pleased no matter what i did it didnt stop him.
End of Flashback

i was sitting on Demi and is bed writing in my journal i basically explained the memory  in the journal. i keep thinking that patricks gonna come back and kill me or that one day im just gonna be dead. "Dani can you come here for a sec." i hear Demi call from downstairs. "Yea be there in a sec." i say i hid my journal under the bed and then went down the stairs. "Whats up Demz" i say "Come sit." she says patting a spot next to her on the couch. "okay" i say sitting next to and turning so i could face her. She took my hands in hers and just looked at me. "You're so Beautiful Dani." she says "um thanks" i say "you know you can come to me with anything right?" she says i nodded slowly "Demi whats this about?" i say "Nothing its just you seem kinda jumpy since the Furneral are you okay?" she says "Yea im fine." i say "are you sure?" she says i noded  "okay." she says rubbing my arm. "Hey Dani Dallas is taking me to the circus wanna go?" i hear Maddie say behind me "yea let me just ask Demi." i say facing Demi again "Can i?" i say "go have fun ill just stay here all by myself." she says i hug her "thanks Demi your the best" i say "You're welcome babygirl." she says kissing my head. i smiled and went to go get ready.
Demis POV

i waved goodbye to my sisters as they went off to the circus. As they took off i went back inside. i ran upstairs and went into Dani and is room. i looked under our bed and saw the journal i gave her for Christmas. i grabbed it and sat on the bed with the journal on my lap. Should i read it i mean it is her privacy but im worried so i opened the journal and skiped to the most recent page and read it. By the time i was done there were tears in my eyes. i cant belive Patrick did that to her. Now my babygirl thinks shes gonna die. i have to talk to her when she gets home. I heard the door open and with that i heard Danis voice. "Demi we're home." she says i whiped my tears and put the journal back. "im in our room." i say i hear her run up the stairs so i turn the tv and lay down. She runs in and jumps on the bed and snuggles into me. Sometimes i forget thats shes twelve and cant belive shes turning 13 in a couple of months. "Hey babygirl." i say laughing "Hey i missed you." she says "i missed you too." i say wrapping my arms around her and kissed her head. We just layed there for what seemed for hours. ugh shes gonna hate me when she finds out i read her journal.
Danis POV

i was laying down in Demis arms  watching the ID channle. "five bucks says the butler did it." i say as the were trying to find out who killed this one rich guy. "im sorry what."  She says "I said i bet you five bucks the butler was the killer." i say "oh yea." she says "you okay you seem out of it." i say "yea its just at the furneral when you said 'im next' what did you mean by that." she asks oh fuck "Nothing it was nothing just forget i ever said it." i say "Was it something dad said." she says "What no where would you get an idea like that." i say "i read your journal." she says "im sorry you what." i say "i read your journal but only the most recent one." she says "what the hell Demi." i say getting out of her grasp. "im sorry babygirl i was worried." she says "Thats still not cool Demi thats like me taking your phone and reading your text messages. You invaded my privacy Demi." i say "i know and im so sorry baby." she says "No Demi this wasnt cool." i say stepping out of the bed.  "Dani please dont leave." she says "I need a night to think about this im not mad im just hurt." i say i grabbed some sweats and ran into the spare room and shut the door behind me.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP" i screamed
Demis POV

When Dani left my whole world came crashing down. "stupid stupid stupid." i say hitting my head ug why do i have to ruin everything. The thing that pulled me back to reality was "SHUT THE FUCK UP"  in an instant i was at the spare room. I tryed to open it but it was locked all i heard was sobs from the other side. "Dani open the door." i say trying to find the key. When i find the key i opened the door. "Dani?" i ask i heard a sob from the bathroom so i went in. i saw a blade in her hand but she didnt cut. i kneeled down in front of her. "Dani give me the blade sweetie." i say as calm as possible. "No i derserve this im just a worthless piece of trash that fuck everything up." she sobs That broke my heart but i knew i had to be strong. "Baby look at me." i say she looked into my eyes god her beautiful brown eyes are so hyponitizing."you are not worthless you are so worthy of life and you are so beautiful. i love you babygirl. You and me against the world?" i say She drops the blade. "im sorry" she says i hug her and rub her back soothingly "im so proud of you babygirl. i love you so much" i say "i love you too you and me against the world?" she says "you and me against the world babygirl." i say "Now lets go back to our room."  "Carry me" she says sleepy. So cute! "okay" i say i pick her up and place her on my hip and she wraped her arms around my neck and rest her head on my shoulder. i never want her to grow up. i place her in our bed and lay next to her and she snuggles into me. We watched the ID channle together and just enjoy eachothers company. "Hey look at that it was the butler looks like i owe you five bucks" i say i look down to see Dani sleeping i smile and grab my phone. i take a picture of me kissing her head while she sleeps peacefully.

i smile as i read the replies and then set my phone to the side. "i love you babygirl" i whisper and kiss her head then i fall asleep
