Remeber December

Danis POV

its been a couple of days since Demi took me to the Xfactor set. Im still suspended but niether Demi nor Marissa are mad at me in fact they were actually talking about homeschooling me. "Dani?" Demi says "yea" i say "you kinda zoned out on me." she says "sorry Dem what were you saying?" i say "i was saying someone special is coming" she says "Really who?" i say "You'll see." she says "C'mon Demi please" i say just as the doorbell rings. "That must be him." She says as she goes to open the door. "Princess?"  that voice sounds so familar and only one person could call me that. i turn to see Joe. I ran over to him and hugged him. When Demi and Joe dated he was like the brother i never had.
Flashback
"Dani come down here i want you to meet someone." i hear Demi say i ran downstairs and saw a boy standing next to Demi. He was holding Demis hand. "Joe this is my little sister,Danilla Isabella Lovato,Dani this is my boyfriend Joe." Demi says gesturing to him. Joe kneeled down to my hieght. "Hey sweetie im joe." he says extending his hand "im Dani." i say shyly "Okay Dani why dont we watch a movie what do you say." Demi says i nod excitdly "Alright then come on." she says i take her hand as we head to the living room. End of Flashback

I dont remeber the movie but i do remeber that Joe and i bonded almost instantly. "What are you doing here?" i ask "i came to see my princess and i got you something" he says "really you didnt have to do that." i say "but i did." he says handing me a box. "consider it a late christmas present." he says i take it and open it. "No way." i say holding up some keys. "you got me a car!" i say running outside and there it was a red mustang. "oh my god thank you so much joe." i say running to him. "hey i figured in four more years you'll be able to drive." He says hugging me. "Hey why dont you get dressed and we take that baby for a spin huh." he says "Can i Demi?"  i say Demi looked kinda mad "uh can you give us a sec Dan." Demi says "yea sure." i say going inside to get dressed.
Demis POV

"What the fuck were you thinking joe. Shes 12 Fucking years old." i yell at him. "i know her age Demi but this is her Dream car Dems shes always talked about getting a mustang a red mustang and i thought what a better time to give to than now." he says "Shes still 12 why didnt you wait until she was 16" i say  "because Demi i havent seen her in 3 years and i dont want anybody else giving her this car i wanted to give it to her i wanted to give it to her me." he says i was gonna open my mouth when i heard a door slam. Danis POV

i heard Demi and joe yelling it was just like back when they used to date. This triggered my memory.
Flashback
i was in Demis room ears corvered but i could still hear the scream from a drunk Demi. "DEMI YOUR FUCKING DRUNK IM NOT GONNA BUY YOU MORE WINE." joe yells "OH YEA IM DRUNK YEA YOU'RE THE ONE STEALING MONEY FROM ME AND DANI." Demi screams "YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT I HAVE MONEY SAVED UP IN THE BANK FOR BOTH YOU AND DANI AND I HAVENT SPENT ONE PENNY OF THAT MONEY." joe yells "DANI GET DOWN HERE." Demi yells "Demi she has nothing to do with this." joe says but Demi ignored him and went straight to our room. "Dani whatever joe says he's lieing you belive me right." she says i could smell the alcohol in her breath but i knew if i said i didnt belive her i would get hurt. i slowly nodded. "good girl." Demi says "Demi she has nothing to do with this come on princess." Joe says i slowly walked over to him but Demi grabbed my wrist. "No stay with me Dani." Demi says "Demi let her go or im calling the police." joe says Demis nails were making their way in my skin. i bite my lip to keep from screaming. Demi let go once she heard the word police. "its okay princess." Joe says i cry into his shoulder "Dont let her get me joe." i say "i wont i promise." he says holding me tightly.
End of Flashback

They broke up a couple of weeks later. Everynight leading up to that was the same. Joe broke it off something about him always having to take care of and how Demi cant even take care of her own sister. Demi blamed me and how i always got in the way of things. I belived her of course. i ruin everything. I ruined thier relationship and now im gonna destroy their Friendship.
This is all your fault Dani

i went to the bathroom and shut the door and locked it. i looked for something until i found a sharpener i broke it and took the blade and held up to my wrist. Then i saw it. The Word 'Stay'. Demi
You ruined her life shes better off without you.

"Dani open the door." i could hear Demi say "No i ruin everything." i say "What do you mean baby talk to me"  Demi says i shake my head and was about to do it When i heard "Remeber December." Joe says
Flashback
it was Christmas and one of Demis worst nights. Joe and i were watching Christmas movies as Demi kept yelling our names and everytime she yelled mine i would jump. I looked at the clock Midnight. i got out of joes grip and went to grab something. "What are you getting princess." Joe asks "Your Christmas present." i say i grabbed it. "A bracelet did you make this." i nod "see it says princess so it can remind you of me." i say "aw ill wear it everyday." he says hugging me "i got something for you too." he says  i pull back "really?" i say he nods and grabs a bag. i pull out the tissue paper and see a teddy bear. "A bear." i say hugging it. "yea it was mine growing up now its yours squeeze him and take care of him. Hes always gonna be there for you just like me." he says i hug him "i love you joe." i say "i love you too princess." he says
End of Flashback

He left that night while i was asleep but he left a not telling me how much he loved me and telling me that he'll see me again soon. I would hug the teddybear everytime Demi got drunk. It reminded me of him. I dropped my blade and saw that there was no blood on my wrist. I also saw that Demi opened the door. She ran over to me and hugged me. "i am so proud of you babygirl." she says "for what i didnt do anything." i say "exactly you Stayed Strong you didnt cut." she says I would have if joe hadnt said that. "Thanks i guess." i say "Now why do you think you ruined everything?" Demi says "Because i do. I ruined your relationship and now im gonna ruin your Friendship" i say "Dani you didnt ruin our Relationship we were'nt working out thats all and Friends fight Dani but Joes like my brother i could never stay mad at him forever."  Demi says "Cut the shit Demi the reason you guys broke up was because you were always drunk and joe had to take care of me. ME not you but me." i say storming to our room. "Dani." i hear demi say Then i hear a knock. "Go away." i say "Dani its joe can i come in." he says "Well its not locked so might as well." i say He came in and sat down on the bed next to me. "The reason i broke up with Demi wasnt because of you. It was to keep you safe." He says "What?" i say "Before i left I said to Demi if you dont clean up your act i will tell everyone about Dani and if you touch her i swear Demi i will take her away from you. We staged the break up so you would think it was because of a fight." he says "i never took this off." he says showing me the bracelet i made for him when i was nine. i took out the teddybear he gave me out from under the covers. "i had to hide him a couple of times but i still have him." i say "i love you Princess." he says "i love you too joe." i say hugging him. i put my teddybear back. "So how about we go to the living room so Demi doesnt worry." he says i nod. We go downstairs and i see that Demi put a movie in the Dvd player. "You good?" she asks "yea im fine." i say sitting next to her. "i love you so much babygirl." she says "i love you too Dem." i say hugging her. "Oh and by the way you are not driving that car hand over the keys" she says "Once around the block." i say "Nope not until you're at least 15 and a half." she says "Fine but im taking care of it." i say giving her the keys "Fine with me." she says "hey are we gonna watch the movie or not." joe says We laugh and then watch the movie. It was almost exactly like the first time i met joe. Except this time Joe and Demi didnt kiss. We spent the rest of the day watching movies until i eventually fell asleep in the middle of Frozen in Demis lap.
