*SEVERAL WEEKS LATER*

Hope's POV:

It had been several weeks since the party and I had started therapy not long after, out of the two therapists that Katilyn recommended I decided to go with Dr. Miranda Price, which was where I found myself today.

"Hope, we've been sitting here for almost the entire hour and you have yet to talk to me, I can't help you if you don't talk to me."

"I guess I just don't know where to start," I told her truthfully.

"We both know that you are here for a reason and I know that right now it's hard for you to open up to me so we can start small and then work to big stuff little by little," Dr. Price said.

"How?"

"Well tell me a little about yourself?" she asked me.

"Um, I own a working ranch that I also run a horse rescue and rehab sanctuary out of."

"Well, that's interesting, what's the name of your ranch?"

"Stark Ranch."

She gave me a look and I could see the question in her eyes, I smiled before I answered her.

"Yes, the very same Stark, my father is Tony Stark but not many people know that."

"Why is that?"

"To keep me safe, only a few trusted people know about us and he wants to keep it that way."

"And how do you feel about your father and him being Iron Man and an Avenger?"

"I don't know to tell you the truth, to me he's always just been Dad, same with my little sister."

"And what's your sister's name?"

"Morgan, she's almost 5 and she is an amazing kid."

"5 and your 21 right, that's an interesting age gap between you."

"Yeah, Morgan is technically my half-sister but I don't see her like that, we may have different moms but to me, she is my sister and I love her."

"And do you have a good relationship with her mom?"

I smiled, "I do, she is my mom too, and she's always been the best mom to me."

"And what does your mom think about that?"

"I wouldn't know, I never met her, she died not long after I was born so it was Dad with help from my paternal grandparents who raised me, not long after Pepper came into our lives, from the first moment she and I just clicked and she became my mom and gave me my little sister."

"So your step-mom has been in your life since you were little."

"Mom, she's my mom, not step-mom and yes she has, she's been there when it's always mattered."

"And what of your maternal grandparents, are they in your life as well?"

"I wish, but no, after my biological mom passed they blamed my dad and me for her passing and wanted nothing to do with us so I never heard from them to this day I don't anything about them and it's okay because I have Grandma and Grandpa Potts."

Dr. Price looked at the time and smiled, "well our hour is up for today but same time next week, and in the meantime, you have my number, you can call me if you need to talk."

"Thank you, Dr. Price."

"You're welcome but don't thank me just yet."

With that, I left Dr. Price's office and made another appointment with her secretary for the next week, and then drove back home, on my way home I got a call from Kaitlyn.
