Chapter 68

Bucky's POV:

"Let the chaos begin."

I looked up and saw Hope running toward me and Emma while also noticing the cars that were making their way down toward us, I looked down at Emma who gave me a toothy grin.

"Looks like it's party time Sweetheart."

Emma giggled in response.

"Wonder what your next word is going to be, also when do you think you're going to decide to walk, although between you and me I don't think your Mama is ready for that just yet."

I stopped talking and looked at Emma, "Nothing?" Emma only cooed, "You're lucky you're cute."

"What are you two talking about over here?" Hope asked.

"Oh, nothing important just the secret of life."

"Interesting, and did Emma give any insight?"

"She did but that's between me and her."

"Okay, dork, let's go and get this little princess on her noble steed before someone else beats us to it first."

"Hear that Emma, you get to ride a unicorn first."

"Oh my gosh, I need a picture of this."

Hope pulled her phone out as I got Emma on the saddle keeping a hold of her.

"Say unicorn," Hope called out.

I got Emma to look over at Hope just as she took a picture.

"Oh, now I have a new wallpaper for my phone," Hope said as she showed me the picture."

"Can you send it to me too?"

"Of course."

A moment later I heard a ding come from my pocket.

"Done."

I gave Hope a quick peck on the lips, "Thank you."

"Any time if this is how you are going to thank me," Hope gave me this lustful look as she bit her lip.

I leaned toward her ear and whispered, "How about later tonight?"

"Yes please."

"Come on now, birthday girl needs to have her fun today."

"Yes, and getting lots of pictures today,"

With Matt guiding Shadowfax and me holding Emma, she got to enjoy her unicorn ride, and to my surprise, Shadowfax was enjoying all the attention he was getting as well.

"Wow, he's a completely different pony from when he was first brought here," I told Hope.

"It's because he knows that he can trust us to keep him safe, he knows he has a home here," Hope said as she scratched Shadowfax's ear who let out a happy whinny making us both laugh.

After the unicorn pony ride, we moved on to the slide, Hope handed me her phone to get a couple of pictures of her and Emma going down the slide into the ball pit, Emma giggled each time they popped out from under the balls.

"Your turn now, I want another picture of you two together," Hope said as she traded me, Emma, for the phone.

"Um, I doubt I'm going to able to go down it," I told her as I eyed the slide.

"Ha, nice try but I saw Steve and Sam going down the slides earlier when we were still getting everything put together," Hope said.

"Wait, are you serious, how did I miss that?"
