"Tony, I have a question for you?" Sam asked from the very back, everyone turned to see his head poking through the small window in the back.
"Ask away."
"Since when did you have a ranch?"
Tony looked at Sam, smiled and then looked out the window towards Hope.
"Since the moment we learned that that girl has a way with horses. My parents bought the land and had the ranch house and barn built. They left it to Hope because she never liked the city life, she has always enjoyed the quiet country life."
"How long has it been since you've been to the ranch," Sam asked.
Tony looked at Pepper, "It's been 2 years I think, I've mostly talked with Hope over the phone, and when I do see her it's always at her competitions."
When Steve and Bucky heard Tony say that they gave each other a look, both of them wondering if maybe Hope was the reason why Tony forgave them, they said nothing and stayed silent for the rest of the ride.
"Well Mr. Stark I think you will be impressed with some of the new additions Ms.Stark has done to the ranch," Matt said smiling.
"Additions?"
"Yes honey, she had some work done on the barn and house and it still looks homey," Pepper said.
"Wait, you knew she made changes and you never told me."
"It was never brought up," she said nonchalantly.
Hope was close to the truck and could hear the conversation that was going on inside, she rode up to the window next to Tony.
"Dad, don't be upset, I think you will be impressed by it when you see the ranch."
"And how much did all of this cost me, young lady."
Hope laughed.
"Don't tell me you did not see any statements?"
Tony thought for a moment until he made a realization but before he could say anything they arrived at a hilltop that overlooked the ranch and he was shocked at what he saw.
He looked at Hope, "It's so beautiful."
"Thanks, Dad, well let's get inside so that you can get settled in," Hope took off in a gallop on Midnight, and both Morgan and Peter laughed with joy.
She stopped at the barn, Peter climbed off first and Hope handed Morgan over to him and climbed off, then took the saddle off of Midnight.
"There you go boy," she led him to the pasture behind the barn. Midnight made his way over to a pure white mare who was grazing.
She, Peter, and Morgen made their way to the house as the truck pulled up front. Bucky and Steve, and Sam jumped out of the bed once it pulled to a stop and started unloading the bags.
"So as you can see, the house has been expanded to add three rooms downstairs and upstairs as well as 2 bathrooms upstairs. The barn was also expanded to make more room for the horses as well as to add our in-house vet clinic. With the barns expansion, it gave more room to the upstairs so we were able to convert it into a livable loft with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a kitchen and living room that are connected. We are also currently working on an indoor training arena."
Tony walked over to Hope, "How did you pull off something this big and it not costing a fortune."
Hope smiled, "With mom's help of course, and mostly the work was done by our workers here at the ranch."
"And we were all happy to help out, Ms.Stark is the absolute best boss that any of us could ask for," Matt said smiling too.
"Well, I couldn't have asked for better help. Matt, you can go ahead and check on the horses while I get everyone settled in."
