"Calliope, that was the best sex I've ever had."

"Really?"

"Mhm," Jada answered as she pressed a soft kiss to Callie's lips.

Jada had noticed before, but really noticed it more these last few minutes, the quiet moan sound Callie would make just before they kissed. It was so soft and so cute and she couldn't help wanting to kiss her more and more so she could continue to hear it.

"Calliope?"

"Yeah?"

Jada smiled. "So are we girlfriends?"

"Yes," Callie answered immediately.

She whistled to herself. "You're really my girlfriend. I am in bed, having sex with the Callie Torres."

"You're forgetting Dr. Torres and the Marvel Avenger Lynx."

"I almost forgot you were Lynx."

Callie smiled. "See this?" she asked, picking up her necklace by the chain.

"It's a beautiful necklace."

"Watch this."

Callie pressed the necklace together between her fingers and suddenly Jada was laying beside Callie in her Lynx suit. Just as soon as the suit was on, it was off and Callie's necklace settled back against her chest.

"I'm making you one too," Callie told her. "To protect you in the event I can't. It's going to be the same thing as mine, I can even teach you how to use it if you want. But the suit is bulletproof, made out of very strong material, and it'll protect you."

"That's..." Jada trailed off.

"And in case there's a time where you can't press the necklace, you can set up a code word and it will do it."

"So can I come fight crime with you?"

Callie smiled. "Maybe."

"Come on."

"I still have to fit the suit to you. And we'll have to modify it so that you can hear just like I do when you're wearing it. And I have to teach you how to use it."

"I would love to learn."

Callie kissed her forehead. "I'm off work tomorrow unless I get paged so we can work on it tomorrow."

Jada moved a little closer to her so that their bare chests were touching. "In the meantime," she said. "While we wait for tomorrow to come around," she whispered. "We could do some more of this," Jada mentioned as she began to run her fingers down between Callie's breasts.

"I am so down," Callie answered.

Jada woke up first the following morning. She immediately looked over at Callie who was turned on her side facing the opposite way. As her eyes adjusted to the dim light in the room, Jada heard the rare sound of rain hitting the roof. It rarely ever rained in Los Angeles. Her eyes scanned the room and she smiled at how much of a mess the bed was. Their clothes were thrown everywhere and intertwined in the sheets as well. The sheets being all out of sorts was Jada's fault. She couldn't help but laugh at herself for a moment thinking back to what had happened last night for these sheets to be like this.
