Jada woke up in bed alone the following morning. She flailed her arms out, hoping to hit Callie and wake her up as well but the bed was cold around her. She assumed Callie had gotten up early to workout or catch up on actual work.

She slowly sat up and was rewarded with the soreness that could already be felt between her legs. As she got to her feet, Jada could already tell it was going to be a long day. She was so sore. Callie was right, it didn't feel the greatest the following day, but the pleasure that came from it was totally worth it. She wanted Callie to do that again.

Jada slowly made her way down the stairs, unable to walk normally yet. She looked towards Callie's office where the door was ajar. If she was in there she would have already come out. Jada guessed her girlfriend was working out in the basement.

She made herself some coffee and oatmeal and sat on the barstool waiting for Callie. Jada surely made enough noise for Callie to hear and happily waited for her girlfriend to come upstairs for breakfast.

She nearly fell off the stool when the door entering the house from the garage opened and Callie stepped in looking like one hot biker. Her hair was down, covering her padded leather jacket. She wore black boots with black jeans.

"You're up early beautiful," she said with a warming smile.

"Where were you?" Jada asked.

"I went for a ride," Callie answered. "I have a date planned for us later."

Jada watched her hang up the leather jacket to reveal a tucked purple t-shirt. She felt a little slighted that Callie hadn't left her a message or a note saying she was going somewhere. She usually did. Jada tried to brush it off since maybe she was just planing a surprise for her later. But that was still very odd of Callie not to mention she was leaving.

Callie walked over to her and wrapped her arms around Jada from behind. "How do you feel? Pretty sore?"

Jada giggled. "Yeah, I can't walk normally yet."

Callie kissed her girlfriends cheek. "That was pretty hot though."

"You were really hot baby. You're always hot but that was really hot," Jada rambled.

Callie laughed at her. "Thank you. You're hot too."

"I think you might have to schedule me in for an appointment today Dr. Torres. I think I need a relaxing massage."

"I'll have to recommend you to someone else, Mrs. Torres. I specialize in orthopedics. It looks like I can still schedule you in today."

"Mrs. Torres?" Jada asked, a little stunned that Callie referred to her as such.

She nodded. "You're pretty much my wife already anyway. All we have to do is make it official."

Jada's jaw dropped. What was she talking about? "Callie baby, you're scaring me what are you talking about?"

Callie took Jada's hands and helped her to her feet. "I love you."

"I love you too Calliope."

"I love you. So much," Callie repeated and Jada still had no idea what was happening. "I'm sorry this isn't as beautiful or romantic as I wanted it to be, but I just had to do it now because I can't wait any longer to ask you to be my wife."

"Calliope Torres, what are you doing?"

Jada thought she was going to pass out when Callie knelt down in front of her. "Callie?"

"Jada, mi amor," Callie said quietly with a huge smile as she opened a small box Jada had no idea she was holding. Jada's heart almost leapt out of her chest in excitement when she said the words, "will you marry me?"

"Yes Calliope!" Jada exclaimed, her voice cracking as she began to cry tears of joy. "Yes, I want to marry you."

Callie stood up and as soon as she was up, she was crushed in a hard and loving kiss from her fiancée. "Calliope, I can't believe it," Jada said, her voice still barely audible. Callie took her left hand, and slid the absolutely beautiful diamond ring onto her ring finger.

"When I was talking with my parents last night," Callie explained. "I realized something. I don't need to put effort in to get their love and support. I have all of that right in front of me, I have you. You are all that I want. It doesn't matter how long we've been together, I want you and I want to make you my wife really fucking soon."

"Did you get one for yourself?"

Callie nodded and handed Jada the other box. "It's not as flashy as yours but I want everyone to know wether I'm at work, or being Lynx, I want it on all the time and I want everyone to know I'm going to marry the most amazing girl in the entire world."

Jada took the second ring out from the box. "Since you beat me to it," she said with a smile as she knelt down on one knee. "Calliope Torres, will you marry me?"

"Yes!"

She slid the ring onto Callie's finger. "The girls were telling me to do it, but since you're kinda busy protecting me, I didn't want you to get suspicious if I went to a jewelry store."

"Hey, we can go back real soon and pick out our wedding rings."

Jada pulled Callie into her embrace. "I love you."

"I love you too."

Y'all I was totally not planning on having them get engaged this chapter but I love it! The beauty of writing.
