Callie woke the following morning to gentle, tender fingers massaging her bare back, and soft kisses being pressed against her neck.

"Good morning Calliope," a quiet voice whispered into her ear.

She chuckled when Arizona's massage moved to her side, sending shivers down her spine. Arizona's fingertips tickled her just enough for Callie to feel the funny sensations, and laugh in reply.

"Hey Arizona," Callie said huskily as she used her sore arms to roll over to face the blonde sharing her bed.

Upon settling onto her right side, Callie's presence and attention was welcomed by a kiss from Arizona. The blonde was again wrapped under the covers like a burrito, and welcomely pushed herself into Callie's warm embrace. Arizona made herself comfortable, leaning her bare back against Callie's chest, receiving another quiet giggle from the Latina.

Callie couldn't fathom what she was feeling right now. After fighting herself a little bit last night, she gave in to her desire and slept with a woman who enjoyed and needed her presence unlike her wife. Callie didn't look back when she made love to Arizona last night, or when she let Arizona make love to her.

As much as Callie didn't want to admit, spending the night with Arizona made her feel like the woman she was before the storm with her wife. Jada hadn't looked at her like Arizona had last night in a long time, Callie couldn't remember. Callie hadn't experienced being wanted like Arizona had wanted her in a while.

Callie had no regrets about being with Arizona last night. The blonde gave her something to focus on, and allowed her to relax and feel like time had stopped around her so she could take a break from her troubled marriage. For once in a few days, Callie's thoughts didn't dwell on her troubled relationship and she had enjoyed Arizona helping her rediscover the woman she was that had been hiding underneath all the pain.

The Latina also didn't give a care in the world what Jada would think of this when she returned. She would find out eventually, hell, Callie even thought about telling her. Jada had suggested that Callie try seeing other people. Callie had been everything for her wife. And her love and support had been returned by Jada running on her twice, getting involved with other women, and not trusting Callie like she deserved to be trusted. Maybe telling her wife she had slept with Arizona would spur Jada into action to either fight for her, or decide to end their marriage.

"Calliope?"

Callie jumped when she heard her name, her thoughts immediately focused on the beautiful blonde laying with her.

"Callie, are you okay? You look like you've seen a ghost."

She quickly nodded. "Yeah, I was just thinking."

"Thinking about what?"

Callie took a deep breath. "I needed last night," she answered quietly. "I feel like time stopped around me with you, and I enjoyed myself like I haven't in a while."

"Are you thinking about Jada?" Arizona asked as she pressed a gentle kiss to Callie's lips.

"I'm thinking about what she's going to think when she finds out about this. Not like her opinion even matters after all she's done to me."

Arizona laughed at the sarcasm in Callie's voice, and Callie laughed along with her. "I'm also thinking about how much I enjoyed last night."
