"Callie, please!"

Jada struggled to follow her wife up the stairs. "Callie!"

"Calliope!"

Callie finally turned around after entering their bedroom. After putting the drunk woman in her place, Callie left the bar as fast as she'd came and Jada found herself explaining to her friends what happened. Jada's friends were a lot more understanding than Callie was, but Callie had every reason to be upset.

"Baby, I want to talk to you," Jada pleaded. "Please!"

"I just can't believe you," Callie said, finally breaking the silence. "I don't even know what to say."

"Callie, I'm sorry baby. I wasn't there, I should've done something, I have no interest in that woman," she rambled.

"Just stop."

Jada immediately shut her mouth and listened.

"You promised me when we got married that you would never break my heart again."

"Callie!"

"I'm mad," she said sternly. "At you and at the situation. I thought you knew better than to get that shit faced. You have no idea what it's like to walk in and see some other girl with her hand in your wife's pants."

"I'm sorry baby."

"I'm thinking about a divorce right now."

Jada thought she was going to fall over. "Calliope, we are not getting divorced."

"When have you ever considered how I felt?" Callie demanded. "You've left me once before, and you really didn't think of me when you were making out with some other girl?"

"Callie, you were all I thought about."

"Then why didn't you stop!?"

Jada took a deep breath. "I couldn't make my body stop. It was the alcohol."

"I don't care what it was Jaelynn!" She was yelling now. "I would never let myself do what you did!"

"Baby, I don't know what to say."

Callie turned away and quickly grabbed a blanket before heading towards the door. "Where are you going?"

"I'm going to one of the other bedrooms," she answered angrily. "I'm not sleeping with you tonight. You should call your bitch up and invite her over. Maybe fuck her while you're at it."

Jada stepped in front of the door to block her exit. "You are sleeping with me. And I am not fucking anyone but you."

As Callie tried to push by her, Jada pushed the door closed and leaned up against it. "You are not going anywhere until we talk this out."

"What is there to talk about?"

"We are not getting divorced, we are not separating, I am going to stand here and drill that into your head until you give up if I have to."

Jada continued. "You don't get to tell me any of that crap because I love you and you love me, and right now, that's all that matters."
