Jada just couldn't get over the cute little things Callie did. They finally met up with her friends, about a half hour late. It was just three of Jada's friends, Lexi, Rachel, and Becca. The bar was packed. When they found a spot to sit, Callie refused and stood behind Jada in sort of a protective stance. Jada knew it was because some looks were given in their direction by onlookers when they arrived.

Everyone had at least 2 drinks in front of them except for Callie. And Jada knew once again that Callie was doing it because she wanted to stay sober to protect her. She wanted to tell Callie that she didn't need to, but Jada appreciated the gesture. Callie was being Callie and Jada was perfectly okay with that especially since it was getting late.

"And you must be the girlfriend," Rachel exclaimed as soon as they sat down.

Jada felt Callie press against her. She had her leg up on the metal bar near the stool and Jada took that as an opportunity to lean back against her and put her elbow on her knee.

"I'm Callie, it's nice to meet you."

Jada's friends immediately started pouring on the questions. "So how did you two meet?"

They had this discussion on the way here of what they were going to say when asked this question. Callie allowed her to tell her friends who she really was.

"It's kinda an insane story," Jada started. "But you girls have to promise me you won't tell anyone."

All three of them agreed and Jada smiled. "She crash landed on the back porch of my apartment after she saved my life the previous day." Jada took a deep breath. "Callie is Lynx. We can show you but not here and not now. She landed on my porch and fucked up her ankle real bad and we just kinda hit it off after that."

Becca called for a toast and shots were delivered. "To Jada and Callie!"

The girls pounded shots after shots. "I told you the love god's would be looking out for you," Lexi said as she punched Jada in the shoulder.

The four of them started drunkenly talking about Jada finally in a relationship and Callie's face was getting red at some of the things they were saying.

"So how's the sex?"

"Mediocre," Callie shot back clearly teasing Jada and got a punch to the arm. "I'm just kidding babe."

Jada took another sip of her cocktail. "Out of this world," she answered. "This woman does things to me, it's like..." she trailed off and Callie could notice her starting to get visibly drunk. "That's why we were late," Jada added very happily. "Cause I just couldn't not get it."

They were all laughing again. Rachel added, "I'm not gay and I wouldn't pass that up."

"Oh I know, I'm just that great," Callie added.

"You are baby," Jada told her as she moved in for a kiss.

As soon as she pulled away, Jada got the look that Callie could tell something was up.

"What's going on baby?"

"Come to the bathroom with me."

Jada stood up. "We'll be right back," she told her friends.

"Have fun getting a little quickie," somebody teased.
