Jada was now a Twitch partner and one of the most watched Apex Legends and Fortnite creators. Her community had talked her into trying the ever so popular game Fortnite, and she was a beast at it. She had earned the nickname the "trap queen" for her use of traps in game that made for some pretty sick eliminations.

She had also been invited to play with some of the biggest Fortnite creators including SypherPK, Ninja, Chica, Nick Eh 30, and more. Her channel had taken off in just a month. Jada would spend almost everyday in her office working, wether she was streaming, or recording and editing a YouTube video.

SypherPK had also offered her an opportunity to be a creator for his content creation business Oni Studios. Jada was waiting for the team to get back to her regarding her application to be an Oni creator.

Jada's life was great. She was doing what she loved for a living and it was helping to improve her mental health so much. And she didn't want to stop. She had upgraded her streaming setup through the past month. Jada added studio lighting, in addition to a professional audio interface, and a second PC that was used for streaming along with her gaming PC.

She finally finished for the day at one in the morning. Jada had a great stream, gaining about 200 subscribers, and finished off the day with recording and editing the end of the weeks YouTube video.

When she made it upstairs, Jada found her wife asleep in bed. Callie said she was going to have a long day at work but Jada couldn't recall hearing her come home. She quickly showered and came to join her wife in bed.

"Hey Callie," she whispered while gently rubbing her wife's arm.

When she felt Callie waking up beside her, Jada moved to wrap an arm around her. "I didn't know you were home baby."

"I didn't want to interrupt you," Callie said quietly. "I just went to bed because I have an early day tomorrow."

Jada kissed her wife's cheek. "Get some sleep baby, I just wanted to say I love you."

Callie smiled softly and soon she was asleep. Jada cuddled up to her wife and soon she was asleep as well.

Callie had already left for work when Jada woke up and she immediately got herself ready for the day and downstairs to have breakfast. While having breakfast, she decided to call her wife.

Callie picked up the second time Jada called. "Sorry, I'm prepping for the OR," she said quickly.

"This a bad time?"

"No, the patient doesn't come for another half hour, I just didn't feel my phone vibrate."

"It's okay baby," Jada reassured her. "I just wanted to see how you were doing."

"I'm fine," Callie answered quickly. "I'm surprised you're not streaming already."

"I'm about to, I just wanted to talk to you."

"I won't keep you then," Callie told her. "I'm going to go, I'll see you when I get home."

"Alright, I love you."

Jada was surprised when her phone beeped meaning Callie had hung up. She was a little bit disappointed that her wife didn't say I love you back, but she brushed it off. Callie was busy and that was okay.

Jada headed into her office with Jackie on her heels and turned on her computers and got herself set up for her stream. She was going to play both games today. There was an Apex Legends update overnight and a Fortnite patch as well, hopefully fixing some glitches that made the game unplayable at some points. Jada then relaxed in her chair and went live for the day.

Jada was very surprised to find Callie in the kitchen at 11 when she finally finished up for the day. "Babe, I didn't hear you come home."

"We need to talk."

She was confused, but made her way into the kitchen and sat at the barstool across from her wife. "Okay, what's going on?"

Callie simply stared at her. "Really?"

"Really, what?"

"Jada, when was the last time we had dinner together?"

"Sometime last week," Jada answered. "I think."

"Almost two weeks ago."

Jada nodded. "I'm sorry, I've been so busy," she rambled quietly.

"And you remember how busy my schedule was a few months ago?"

"I do."

"And I still made time for you."

"Callie, what are you saying?" Jada questioned.

"Look, I am very happy for you. I'm so happy to see how far you've come. But I haven't had dinner with you in almost two weeks. We haven't had a meaningful conversation other than this in a week. I think I can count on my fingers the amount of word's we've exchanged the last few days. When was the last time we went out? I wanted to go out with you last weekend but you wanted to stay home so I went with some of my friends. When was the last time we had sex?"

Callie took a deep breath. "I feel like you want to be my wife only when it's convenient for you right now."

"Callie, that is not true at all."

"But it is and you know it. The way you're looking at me right now, you know it."

"Callie, I don't know what you want me to do. I-."

"Make some time for me!" Callie said, her voice getting louder. "Christina invited me to go to New York for her conference today but I said no because I hadn't seen you in a while."

"Then go to New York Callie!"

Jada could feel the tension between the two of them. "You tell me you love me everyday," she explained. "And I love you too. But you haven't loved me like I know you do since you went viral."

"I have so much more work to do because of that!"

"You're not getting the point," Callie said quietly. "I miss you. And now you're just throwing it back in my face like it's wrong for me to miss my wife."

Before Jada could say anything, Callie moved past her, down the hallway, and into her office where she closed the door with a loud bang.

"Calliope!"

Just as fast as the door slammed, it was opened again, and a really pissed off Callie marched to stand in front of her. "You don't want to get it, so I'm going to say it like this, you love your gaming crap more than you love me!"

"You are being so unreasonable."

"Sure," Callie snarled. "I'm the unreasonable one here." She laughed. "I have let this go on for weeks because I know how excited you were about it. But if I had known you were just going to act like I didn't exist, I wouldn't of even thought of supporting you."

Jada let her walk away after that and she went back into her office.
