The couple drove home in complete silence. Jada tried to break the silence on multiple different occasions, but Callie only responded with a word or two. Jada knew that her wife had moved from being disappointed, to really upset.

She followed Callie inside and watched as she quickly made her way up the stairs and out of view. Taking a deep breath, Jada hung up her jacket and keys before kneeling down to pet Jackie. "Hey little man."

Jackie wagged his little curly tail and nuzzled himself into Jada's side. "Buddy you're so adorable."

Jada looked up from petting him when she heard footsteps make their way toward the kitchen. Callie came walking in and made her way right to the fridge. She was wearing a tank top and shorts.

"Baby, where are you going?"

Callie opened the fridge and grabbed a water bottle. "I'm going to lift," she answered quickly.

"It's midnight Callie. Come to bed with me please."

She took the water and began walking back the way she came toward the basement door. "I need to blow off some steam."

"Callie, I know you're mad at me."

"I don't really want to talk about it right now."

"Well I do."

Callie opened the basement door. "You didn't want to talk about it yesterday."

"Calliope, please come here."

With a loud sigh, Callie closed the basement door and walked back over to her wife. "You're right babe," Jada told her.

"I've been too focused on my content creation and it's been affecting us." She waited for Callie to say something, but she didn't, so Jada continued. "I've been doing so well and I'm sorry that I let that excitement get the best of me and push you aside. I made a schedule before I came to find you. I'm going to stream most of the time when you're at work. And occasionally at night but not often. I'm going to hire an editor to do my Youtube videos so I can be done for the day when you get home. And I'm really sorry I let this go on for so long."

"Okay," was all Callie said. She turned and started out of the kitchen.

"You're not going to say anything?" Jada questioned.

"I'm just really pissed off."

Jada reached out and caught her wife's hand. "I'm trying to talk to you about it. I know I was wrong."

"Jada, I really don't want to talk about this right now."

"When are we going to talk about it Callie!? You're mad at me! And I was a complete bitch for not being a good wife these last few weeks."

Callie started pulling back towards the basement. "Please let me go."

"Callie."

"Let go of me."

"I am sorry Callie! Please, let's talk this out."

Callie was turned away from her. "Let go!" she yelled, loud enough to startle both Jada and Jackie.

"What is wrong with you Callie?" Jada asked. "Yesterday you were the one trying to get this through my head. And now you don't even want to talk to me."
