"You look like you've had a few too many," a stranger's voice said from beside Jada.

The sudden voice startled her, and soon she was looking over her shoulder to see the attractive redhead coming over to her. This was great. Where was Callie when I need her?

Jada politely smiled and turned her attention back to the counter where she was waiting for the last round of drinks and her card so she could pay off the tab. The bartender handed her card back and Jada quickly stuffed it into her purse and turned to head back to her friends.

"I'm talking to you, you know?" the redhead said. "I saw you checking me out. It's not very polite to stare down a lady and then run from her."

I have my own lady to stare down at home, Jada thought to herself.

Jada turned around and again managed a smile. "I'm a little tipsy," she admitted. "I apologize."

"It's okay," the woman answered with a hint of a British accent. "Just wanted to give you a hard time. But you just can't look me over like you want to fuck me and then run away."

"I'm not interested in doing that," Jada answered, hoping that would clear the air and the woman would leave her alone. "I'm just a little tipsy, that's all."

"I think you're drunk," the woman said as Jada attempted to step away from her. "What the hell did you have to drink?"

"Whatever that is," Jada said as she watched the bartender walk past them with the drink.

The girls eyes went wide. "You had that? That shit is so strong."

Jada nodded. "Yeah. I apologize about the look, there was no intent behind it at all."

"You look like you're having a hard time agreeing with that. You have a girl?" the woman asked.

Before Jada could answer, the redhead continued. "Because I would be definitely interested in getting to know you. You're pretty cute yourself."

"Thank you," Jada responded quietly. "My friends and I are going to be heading out soon so-"

"Why don't you hangout with me for a few minutes?" the girl asked. "My name is Veronica, but you can call me Ronnie."

She nodded. "Jada."

"That's a pretty name, is it short for anything?"

Jada shook her head, not wanting to tell this random girl her full name. "Just Jada."

"Your name makes you even cuter."

Jada found herself struggling for words as Veronica took her hand and led her to a table on the opposite side of the bar from her friends. She was praying that Becca, Rachel, and Lexi would notice she hadn't come back yet and come looking for her, but they were pretty gone too. Jada began to call Callie's name in her head. Maybe Callie would feel her distress the way she had done before and come to her aid. Jada doubted it though. The last time this happened the two were in the same bar. Now Jada was at the bar and Callie was a few miles away at home.

Callie baby, help me, Jada pleaded in her head. This bitch is trying to flirt with me and I can't put a sentence together.

"You are going to stop thinking and pay attention to me."

Jada's thoughts were interrupted by Veronica gesturing for her to have a seat. Reluctantly, Jada sat down.

"What did you really want when you looked me up and down a few times?"

"Nothing," Jada stuttered. "You're attractive, that's all."

"And so are you," Ronnie replied. "No girlfriend?"

"I uh..."

Ronnie laughed. "Only single girls stare down other girls like you did to me."

"I'm really... I'm really not interested."

Ronnie nodded. "I think you need to convince yourself more than me."

Jada watched Ronnie stand up and walk over to her. This was not good. Really not good. Ronnie took her hand and pulled her to her feet. "I can show you what you're missing out on."

She again struggled for words as Ronnie led her into the bathroom. As soon as the door closed behind them, Ronnie's lips were all over Jada's and Jada was trying her hardest to escape.

Jada didn't know if she should pull the necklace. This woman was obviously a lot stronger than her, and more with it at the moment than Jada was. She wanted absolutely no part in whatever Ronnie was thinking, and needed to stop it before Ronnie tried to get into her pants.

She was not kissing Ronnie back, and turned herself away when she felt her hand between her legs.

Calliope!

Jada decided that she might have to do it. She didn't want to, but her head was in no place to get her out of this situation. She desperately hoped Callie would save the day again, but Jada also didn't want Callie finding out she shared a kiss with another woman like this.

Just as she was about to press the necklace, the bathroom door came flying open and a really pissed off Callie went right after Ronnie. Callie pushed Ronnie off of her and stood between the two women.

"Who the hell are you? And what the fuck are you doing?"

Callie pushed her away as she tried to come near Jada again. "Get the fuck outta my way you bitch! We were busy here!"

Jada could sense in Callie's body language that she was ready for a fight. "You know who you were messing with?" Callie questioned to get no response from Ronnie.

"My wife."

Jada would never want to be on the opposing side of a pissed off Callie Torres. And she was glad she couldn't see the glare Ronnie was getting.

"She didn't tell me she was married!"

"Did you let her?" Callie again got no response. "So I'm taking that as a no."

"Let me go or I'm going to hurt you," Ronnie said in a completely non threatening tone.

"Please do."

A drunk Ronnie completely tried and missed to throw a punch at Callie. But that was all Callie needed. With one swing, she punched the woman square in the jaw and Ronnie was on the floor immediately.

As much as Jada wanted to see Callie fight for her, it was enough. "Let's go babe," Jada whispered into Callie's ear as well as grabbing her arm.

But Callie was still not budging. She was staring Ronnie down, daring the woman to challenge her female masculinity. "Babe, come on."

Ronnie just sat on the bathroom floor and stared back up at Callie. Callie was such a badass. "You say something about your face," Callie started. "I say something about what you did to my wife. Do we understand each other?"

Ronnie quickly nodded. "Yes!"

Callie then let Jada pull her out of the bathroom. "Let's go home babe."
