Jada woke up when she heard Callie's phone buzzing on the nightstand. Slowly opening her eyes, she reached out and felt for the phone. It was eight in the morning, but they had only went to sleep about two hours ago.

Seeing that it was Christina, Jada swiped across the screen to answer it. "Hey Christina."

"Hey brownie," Christina replied back enthusiastically. She then added, "I wish I could talk longer but is Callie around?"

"She's sleeping," Jada answered.

"I know today's one of her out of office days, but we just had a really bad trauma case come in. It's going to require major surgery. And if she's interested, we could use her."

Jada looked over at her wife sleeping with her back turned to her. "I would wake her up," Jada explained. "But she just went to bed at like 6:30. I don't know if she'll be in the best frame of mind for a surgery today. We were pretty busy last night."

"Doing what?" Christina asked.

"Take a guess," Jada teased through the phone.

"Wow that long?"

"Mhm, I'm sure she'll tell you all about it at work soon."

"I hope so," Christina added through the phone. "If you wouldn't mind having her call me when she wakes up, that would be great. And tell her that Arizona and her intern started dating."

"I will," Jada said a little shakily. "Good luck with that surgery Christina."

"Thank you."

"I'll have Callie call you later."

"I appreciate it, thanks! They just arrived so I'm going to go prep the OR."

"See ya Christina."

"Bye!"

Jada flopped down on her back and plugged Callie's phone into the charger since it wasn't plugged in last night. She didn't know what to think about the Arizona thing.

She didn't doubt Callie's loyalty at all. Although Callie would never admit it, Jada knew that what happened with Arizona broke her so hard she spent the two years before they met trying to figure out why she wasn't good enough. Just as Callie could read her mind, Jada was pretty good at picking up on her wife's body language. Callie would never say it, but Jada could feel that Arizona was her wife's person at one time. She was just worried about Callie's heart now that she was most likely going to be around Arizona a lot more.

Jada cuddled up to the sleeping beauty beside her. But as usual, as Jada made herself comfortable, Callie woke up. "Were you talking?" she asked very groggily.

"Yeah, Christina called."

"What'd she want?"

"She wanted to know if you wanted to help with a surgery today."

Callie closed her eyes and nodded. "I better get up."

"You are not going anywhere," Jada told her wife sternly. "I told Christina you're running on an hour and a half of sleep."

"But I should be there, I'm the Ortho Goddess this is my job."

Jada pushed her back down when she tried to sit up. "You are not going anywhere," she repeated again. "You're tired and exhausted."

They had a fun night last night. Callie busted out that Lynx suit and they had lots and lots of sex. It was off and on all night as they would take a break and doze off for a few minutes before feeling the need to do it again.

"I need to be there," Callie protested.

"Babe, I'm not letting you go perform major surgery on somebody today. You are too tired to be doing that. You're not even supposed to be there today."

"I told them that if they needed me, I'd be there."

"I'm telling you no Calliope."

She turned around, still half asleep. "Come on babe."

Jada just looked at her. "Come on me."

Callie looked up and raised an eyebrow at her. "You want it again?"

"Just do it."

As Callie went to push herself up, her extremely sore arms gave out and she flopped down onto her face. "Baby, that's what I mean."

"You're right," Callie admitted.

"You're going to be stuck with me all day Calliope."

Callie managed to turn herself onto her side to face Jada. "I like it when you boss me around. It's kinda hot."

Jada leaned over and pressed a gentle kiss to Callie's lips. "You're hot."

"Thank you," Callie whispered between kisses.

"Anytime baby."

Jada watched her roll back over onto her back. "Christina told me Arizona and your intern are together now," she added.

Callie looked over at her. "You're kidding."

Jada shook her head. "Christina wanted me to let you know."

Callie slowly made her way on top of her wife. "I don't care," she answered.

"I know, but I also know how much Arizona hurt you and I just want to make sure you're going to be okay now that I'm sure she'll be around more."

She kissed Jada's lips gently. "I really don't care," Callie repeated. "I'm over worrying about Arizona and I honestly don't care anymore. I have you, and you're all I need so I can be civil with Arizona."

Jada smiled below her. "I love you."

"I love you too," Callie answered. "I'm at peace with the whole Arizona shit. Yeah it really sucked what she did, but if that wouldn't of happened I never would've met you. I would do it again if it meant I would still be with you."

"Calliope," Jada started to stutter. "I really don't deserve you."

"Stop it," Callie was quick to respond. "You deserve the world. And I'm going to try for the rest of my life to give you everything I can."

Jada wrapped her arms around her wife's bare back. "You're so good to me Callie."

"I love you," Callie repeated again. "Words can't express how much I love you. I'm going to show you how much I love you every day. I'm going to protect you from the world, and I'm going-"

"Calliope, please kiss me."

"I can do that Jada."
