Jada was relieved when Callie agreed to sit down with her and talk about things tomorrow evening. While she waited for her love to finish reconstructing another hip, she did her research on Callie's new boyfriend.
She had no idea what was going to go down tomorrow. And she was nervous. Jada had the pleasure of throwing him against the wall earlier as she instructed him to not hurt Callie like she and others already had.
Callie told her that Luke knew just about everything. And from what Jada gathered, he was really supportive. Callie also made it clear that Luke was to be present during their talk. Jada really didn't want him to be, but she understood. Not only was she turning her lover's life upside down again, but she would be doing the same to his as well.
Jada also hadn't gotten any indication of what Callie was thinking. She simply had to hope and pray that Callie would choose her.

An hour earlier
Jada followed Callie around the hospital, listening to her talk about everything new that was going on here. She'd earned the name 'Ortho Goddess' for reconstructing a completely disfigured knee injury in only a few hours.
"Dr. Torres!" they both heard a man's voice call from behind them as heavy footsteps echoed their way closer.
"Hey Luke," Callie said with a smile that Jada hadn't seen in a while. "Please call me Callie here, okay?"
"Got it," he went to hand Callie his clipboard. "I found this earlier on a x-ray and it doesn't look like anything but I think it is something."
Callie took the clipboard and studied it while Jada looked over Luke for herself. He was tall, a lot taller than Callie. He had short dark and curly hair, green eyes, and a light stubble of a beard on his chin. Jada did have to admit, he was pretty attractive.
"I'll look it over with you Luke, but I see it too." Callie then decided to introduce Jada to him.
"Luke, this is Jada, and Jada this is my boyfriend Luke."
It stung again so hard not being referred to as Callie's fiancée. She decided to take that anger out another way. Jada grabbed Luke's white lab coat and threw him against the wall.
"Jada! Stop!"
Poor Luke looked petrified under her grasp and if it was any other situation, Jada would've laughed.
"I'm sure Callie told you about me?" She asked him to get a nod in response.
"She did," he answered rather nervously. "This isn't how I thought I'd meet you."
Jada pushed him against the wall harder. "Jada, that is enough, let him go!"
"You have to promise me one thing," she whispered into Luke's ear.
"Anything."
"This woman there was my everything. She was the most amazing partner I could have ever asked for. And I fucked up. I broke a promise to never hurt her and I did. So you better swear on your life that you won't do that to her!"
"I promise," he said. "I promise."
Jada released him from her death grip and he immediately went to straighten out his lab coat. "It's nice to meet you Luke," she said, patting him on the back.
"It's nice to meet you too," Luke answered quietly before quickly making his way away from them.
"Jada, what the hell was that?"

Jada was pretty impressed with Luke's list of NFL accomplishments. He was named to either first or second All Pro teams every year he didn't miss a few games due to injury. He made the Pro Bowl nearly every year as well. And it seemed he was going to be a first ballot Hall of Famer.
She still felt so uneasy about tomorrow night. Jada wished she never would've left. This all could have been avoided if she just told Callie. Callie wouldn't of thought of her any differently. She just hoped that Callie had it in her heart to give her one more chance, a chance she was not going to blow.

"You doing okay babe?" Luke asked, nuzzling his face into Callie's ear.
"I'm at a loss," Callie admitted. "I have no idea what to do. Or what to even think."
He hugged her from behind and Callie shut her laptop and just leaned back into his embrace. "It's going to be okay," he tried to reassure her. "I'm with you with whatever you decide to do."
"Luke, this has to be the worst timing for this, but I love you."
He smiled softly. "I love you too."
She buried her hands in her face. "I never thought that this was going to happen. I don't know how she found me. I honestly thought she was out for good. But I don't want to lose you either."
"You're not going to lose me," he whispered quietly. "Whatever you decide to do, I'll be on board with it. You're a great person Cals, and if we're better as being friends, then I'm okay with that and I'd love to still be your friend."
"Luke, you sound like you want me to do it."
"I don't want you to do it. But I'm okay if you do it."
She turned around and buried her face into his chest. "She seems like one intriguing girl."
"That she is," Callie admitted quietly as she pressed a soft kiss to her boyfriends lips. "I wish I could have both of you."
"You know Torres," Luke said with a smile. "I could just knock you up and you'd be stuck with me forever."
They both laughed. "Honestly, right now, all options are on the table."
"I'm kidding," he said with a smile. "I would never do that you."
Luke sat down on the couch taking Callie into his lap. "I'm going to ask you something and I want you to be completely honest with me."
"Oh boy," Callie said, shooting him a small smile back. "Should I be nervous?"
He shook his head. "Not at all. But I think your answer to this question is what you should do tomorrow."
Luke then asked, "Think of yourself five years from now. Doing whatever you want to be doing. You're holding hands with your forever partner. You're thinking about your anniversary, what you're going to be doing with them. You think of your life together. The fun, the messy, the sex, and any kids if you have them. Then you look up at your partner. Callie, who do you see holding your hand?"
"I see..."
