A lot had happened over the last 48 hours , and this was the result .
Bang stared at the news in shock. He had known it would be bad but stock prices had dropped by 2.7 billion US dollars. That was a huge drop and he could only pray the boys were right and this was just a glitch.
He poured himself a whiskey and stared out of his office window at the city lights , twinkling in the night skyline.
He and the share holders had spent nearly a whole day back and forth deciding what to do , he had spoken to media experts and lawyers. All had said the same thing pretty much , there had been no denying what JK had shouted for the world to see and hear. Stock prices had already started decreasing even before he'd put out an official statement.
His own personal feelings had to be hidden at that press conference . He'd had no choice but to support them , with out his support they'd had no chance of surviving this , well not together , he'd had no doubt that any number of Amercan , Japanese even British producers would have snapped the boys up in a heart beat. Even if he had sued them for loss of earnings these massive corperations would have paid it.
He honestly wondered if that would be best for them, it wasn't about the money either, he had enough to live comfortably and his company had several other k pop acts, but , the boys would be treated better abroad . Selfishly perhaps though hed wanted to keep them with him. He loved them like his own children . Like a father dissapointed when his children do something wrong he still wanted to protect them .
He finished his drink and looked at the time ,2am he really should head home and get some sleep , but the parent in him was too worried. How were the boys ,? could he do any more for them. ?
He had a meeting with Tae in the morning , he'd been discharged from hospital and he'd found him and JK a quiet place to recuperate . Paparazzi had been staking out the hospital since the beginning but he'd arranged for a helicopter to air lift them both from the roof of the hospital so as to avoid them all.
He called for his driver and left for home, he wouldn't sleep much but he had to try.
At the same time JK was also sat wide awake , but sipping a hot chocolate watching Tae sleep. He was worried about him , every night since leaving the hospital he'd had a night mare , and every night JK held him until the tremors stopped and he fell back to sleep. His heart was breaking for him.
He looked at the time , gone 2 in the morning , maybe tonight Tae would be okay and he could go to bed now . He looked at Tae , he did seem to be in a nice deep sleep .
Stripping down to his boxers he gently climbed into bed , careful not to hurt Tae's arm and shoulder . He couldn't sleep , between Tae getting hurt, him and his mouth, Bang ,responsibility, the group , he had a lot of stress going on right now.
He actually felt like crying , which was selfish of him so he rubbed his eyes hard and refused to allow tears to fall. He had Tae , every one knew so he couldn't lose Tae now , he didn't have to hide his feeling, his loved ones accepted him even if all of Army hadn't, their group was still intact , he hadn't been kicked out , he had so much to be grateful for yet his heart ached for those few carefree days they'd had in America,
Okay so he allowed one tear to fall, then rolled on his side and kissed Taes arm . ' please have sweet dreams tonight babes , you are safe , I have you "
Tae woke up , it took a second for him to accept he was safe and breath, but he acknowledged to him self , no nightmare, and for that he was happy. He smiled , possibly the first relaxed smile he'd had in a week.
He tried so hard during the day to be strong but he was vulnerable in his sleep .
He looked at his husband's face , he honestly couldn't get enough of thinking of him as his husband. Thinking of JK was the only thing that had kept him sane , locked up and hurting .
He reached out with his good hand and gently caressed JKs face , and in his sleep JK smiled .
Tae felt so guilty for all the pain he had put JK and his brothers through , his nightmares weren't just about what happened to him , they morphed until he could only see everyone else's pain and that's what scared him more .
He had sworn to himself he'd never hurt JK and yet JK had got hurt and the guilt was eating him up. " I'm so so sorry babes " he whispered to the sleeping JK.
Tae knew that the world outside was a complete mess because he'd be caught and Tae had been worried but JK had kept his phone to himself and Tae didn't know the extent of the problem .
He'd find out later though , he and JK had a meeting with Bang, he was very nervous even though JK had tried to assure him everything would be alright .
JK stirred in his sleep and reached out for Tae , Tae momentarily pushed all worries aside , the best thing to heal him and JK was each other. He hadn't felt well enough but this morning , after a decent sleep and a hearty meal last night he felt almost himself .
He allowed himself to be pulled into JK and mindful of his arm bent and kissed the top of JKs silky smooth hair. Jk wrapped his arm round Taes waist even tighter and Tae had to angle his body quickly so as not to jarr his shoulder but having JKs face snuggled into his chest was worth the twing of pain the movement brought.
Jk woke up to find himself wrapped around Tae like a blanket , he went to pull away quickly before his body woke up but JK held him tight . " babes , I don't want to hurt you " he mumbled against Taes chest and he smiled when he felt Tae giggle. It was a beautiful feeling , Tae hadn't smiled in so long .
" I am perfectly happy with you being this close to me " said Tae , " I feel great this morning."
JK wriggled himself free enough to look face to face with Tae , " I've missed you so much , are you sure you feel okay , can I do anything for you ? Do you want something to eat of drink "
As much as it felt amazing being held by Tae after so long , his body didn't understand that Tae was injured , he had to create space before Tae felt him.
Tae looked at him through lowered lids making him look incredibly sexy , " there is something you could do for me please " his beautiful smile making JKs heart beat fast ' think shopping , think cold showers ' ...." anything babe , what do you need ?"
If possible Taes grin grew even wider .." this " he said and leant forward and kissed JK.
Jk heart stopped for a second, shock and then relief , his bent forward and kissed Tae right back , they had missed each other and they needed this. It was like first aid to their pain.
