Part 139 - Leila is One

Time jump..

Today is Leilas first birthday. She recovered from meningitis but now has epilepsy as a long term affect. She is on medication and has only had two small seizures since leaving the hospital just over 6 months ago.

Everything with you and Arizona has been fine. You've been happy. But you haven't spoken about the fellowships since Leila was in the hospital.

Arizona: "I can't believe you're one today Leila. One! You're getting so big. Mummas big girl"

You: "I cannot believe it. Time has gone so fast. I'm going to run upstairs and get ready for the party. People be here soon"

Sofia: "is Zola coming mummy?"

Zona: " yes sweetie, she'll be here soon"

Sofia: "Yay. I'm so excited to play with her."

Zona: " I know you are baby"

Just then, there's a knock on the door .

Meredith: "hello"

Zola runs in. Her and Sofia run off to play together

Amelia: "hey"

Arizona: "hey guys. Come on in"

you come down the stairs and play with Leila in the lounge. Everyone comes through to sit with you.

Amelia goes to sit beside Leila and gives her a present, she helps her open it. "Here you go Leila. I think you'll love this"

You: "Oh wow. That's lovely. Thank you Amelia"

She got her a teddy bear with her name embroidered on it.

Amelia: "oh that's okay. She seems to like it"

Meredith: "my turn! Here you go Leila"
She sits beside her and helps her open the present.

Zona: "thank you Meredith. She'll love that, cute little trampoline"

There a knock on the door.

You: "oh I'll get it"

Alex: "hey Y/N. We've got the cake. And lost of presents!"

You: "thanks Alex"
You hug him and go, then head inside.

You open presents and enjoy the party.
