Chapter 39 Partying

After half an hour, a shower and lunch to get back their strengths, they were still smiling like there was no tomorrow. By now they had to pick up Jas from the rancher's place. They walked, holding hands, interlocking fingers, they had their mermaid pendants out, not worrying people would figure our about their engagement. So much so, they didn't care to hide the obvious hickeys on each other's necks. They got to the taller's aunt's house, Marnie was occupied so from the inside of the coop, she said she was coming. A few minutes pass and she comes to the front again.

Marnie: Hey!- she said not noticing them, before looking at them, her eyes widening before she spoke- Yes! Yes! I'm gonna see my nephew get married!!- she said before hugging him, the other chuckling- So when is the wedding?!

Shane: Calm down we haven't planned so far...-he said chuckling-Ian just proposed this morning.

Marnie: Oh! Well if you want to help me plan things I can! But for now, you should take Jas home and tonight I'll buy you a drink in the saloon to celebrate! Yes Shane it can be something non alcoholic I know how you are... I can also see you're already enjoying married life.- she added, letting them know they should probably do something about the marks, but ending up making the younger blush out of embarrassment.

Ian: Y-yeah.

Marnie: So are we going to finally meet your parents Ian?

Ian: Yeah seams so... OH YOBA WE HAVE TO START PLANNING!- he said had if only then he realized the amount of work they put themselves in, the taller chuckled.

Shane: Ian, deep breaths. We have all the time in the world...

Ian: Yeah, right...- has he said that the small girl got next to them.

Jas: Oh! Those pendants are pretty!!- Shane sighed of relief, he wasn't sure if Jas would have taken it well, but it seamed like his worries were for nothing.

They said their goodbyes and went back to the house, they just mainly watched series and enjoyed each other's company. Well except for Ian who also crochet has they did so. When it was finally afternoon, the younger man went upstairs calling his sister about the engagement. He knew his parents were very set on him getting married but he figured that they didn't need to know now. Specially because knowing his parents they would be overbearing. After putting Jas to bed at around nine thirty am, the two of them went over to the salon to continue celebrating.

They entered the saloon, it was filled whit people, Emily being the first to notice or really care that someone came in. She imidiatly saw the pendants, whispering to Gus before looking back at them, Gus now looking at them. Ian felt his anxiety spike has they sat down, suddenly being all to aware of the eyes in his back. Everyone had went quiet and was staring at them trying to comprehend if it was really a marriage proposal.

Shane: God this town his nosey.- he whispered, before holding onto his partner's hands that were sweaty. Before Ian could open his mouth, the bartender spoke.

Gus: So, anything new in your life?- Shane chuckled.

Shane: You're acting like you haven't figured it out yourself... But yes there's something new.

Ian: W-we're engaged.- he said louder, the two people behind the bar smiling.

Gus: Engaged?! In this town?!- he chuckled before continuing- That's reason to celebrate! Hey everyone, free round for everybody! Ian and Shane are getting married!!- people cheered, the younger unsure if it was because of the free drinks or because they were genuinely happy.

Shane: You can have an alcoholic drink if you want...- he whispered, the other looking at his fiance again.

Ian: Are you sure you won't get triggered? I'm fine if I don't drink.

Shane: Yeah... Just don't get drunk and I'll be fine.

Ian: Alright! Emily, it's a beer for me and a joja cola for Shane.- the woman approached whit the drinks, before speaking.

Emily: So, who proposed to who?

Gus: I'd bet it was Shane.- he let out, Ian sipping his drink has Marnie chuckled from the background.

Marnie: It was quite the opposite darling.- she said from her table,the other ones behind the counter surprised.

Shane: I was actually thinking about it for a months now, but he was the one that stepped up.

Ian: I always been the one whit initiative....

Shane: True... I can't believe I'm getting married.

Ian: Well you are so accept the reality.

Emily: So are we going to meet your parents Ian?

Ian: Yeah, when the day comes. But for now we want to take our time planing...

They kept eating and chatting until late in the night, they held each other's hands. They smiled and giggled like two highschool lovers who did something they weren't supposed to. That's when the smaller suggested something.

Ian: Hey this a bit out of pocket but like... Want to hold off on having sex until the wedding night? We can still mess around just not full on sex.

Shane: May I ask why?- he asked has he got the keys.

Ian: If we don't have it, we most likely not get off each other during the honey moon.

Shane: Mmmm... I quite like the idea.... So it's clear, everything counts except anal and vaginal sex? And of course no pegging.- he asked had they entered the house.

Ian: Yeah.

Shane: Alright, I'm in... But we better not make this too long of a gap, cuz I will go insane.- he said has they both made their way upstairs.

Ian: I see you. I am the horniest bastard alive.- he said has they entered the bedroom, closing the door behind them.

Shane: Eh, you ain't compared to teenage me.

Ian: Oh really?

Shane: Yup. Not proud of it, but I was literally the horniest fucker in the village.

Ian: Oh that's not hard to do.- he said has he took off his shirt- You were sheltered and didn't have a lot of people to explore your sexuality whit, makes sense.

Shane: Maybe... Anyways, if you don't mind I'm going to take a shower.

Ian: I don't mind at all... Night love.- he said before kissing him.

Shane: Goodnight darling.- he replied, before heading to the bathroom whit some clean clothes.
