Chapter 14 Undercover

It was the next day, Shane woke up early and got dressed, feeling better then yesterday. He got dressed and headed downstairs. He found on his way to the kitchen Ian, who was whit a face burn, he smiled has he also headed to the kitchen, going to grab a mug, taking one out for the other.

Ian: Today you woke up early...- he pointed out has they made the coffee.

Shane: I was going to do my job has an actual guardian... I'm a feeling better then yesterday and fuck, I don't Jas to ever think I'm abandoning her.

Ian: Makes sense...- they said before handing the coffee to the taller-  Tonight you want to go hang out on the saloon?- he asked getting closer to the other, moving away the hair from his face.

Shane: You know I'm going clean.

Ian: You can go to the saloon whitout drinking. But if it's to much for you, we can do something else.

Shane: No it's fine... Can you not drink two?

Ian: Of course, love.- he said before closing in and kissing the other.

A sweet and short kiss. Their first kiss together. It didn't felt like nothing out of this world. They both had kissed plenty of people to even feel remotely special. But it felt natural. It felt natural and relaxing. Ian, unlike in previous relationships, didn't felt anxious. It was like all of his worries melted away. When they pulled away they smiled to each other.

Shane: When were you gonna tell me you were a good kisser?- he teased has the other made a coffee mug for himself.

Ian: What? You didn't expect me to be one?- the younger teased back, the other chuckling.

Shane: Well given that one night I should've probably guessed that you are good whit your mouth.

Ian: I am. Now my question is, are you?- he continued, now sipping from his mug has he leaned back into the kitchen counter.

Shane: Yes... But I do think I'm better whit, other body parts.- he said getting closer the other chuckling before continued.

Ian: I'll definitely hold you up to that, but not now. I'm not gonna occupy you for a good solid hour when you already made plans whit someone else.

Shane: Tonight?- he asked has he put down the now empty coffee mug.

Ian: Mhm... Depends on tired I am... Or sore. Today I've been lifting up some really heavy things.

Shane: Enough flexing how strong you are, I've got it.- he said in a sweet tone- Anyhow I really need to hurry so, take care of yourself and have a good day.- he said before kissing the other.

Ian: You two, love.- he replied before kissing the other yet again- Say hi to Jas for me will you?

Shane: Of course!

The older left the building before heading to Marnie's home. He thought about his relationship on the way. He's probably going to have to visit more often since he's going to permanently be away. He wondered if he should tell Marnie about his relationship, but figured out against it has it only had been one day. Shane thought if possibly in the future, Jas could live whit them. After all, Shane has became a father figure in Jas life and he was the closest thing to family to her. But in second thought he didn't know how that would go. He was whit a man. The town would know. She could be bullied. He sighed snapping back to reality, before heading to the mountains whit her.

Many hours had passed by, Ian sat at the bar drinking some soda, he was starving, but was waiting for Shane to appear. Once he did, he sat besides him, smiling.

Shane: Sorry I took so long, I had to read Jas a bedtime story.

Ian: It's fine, let's order tho I really want to eat one of Gus' amazing pizzas.- he said before both of them ordered. Ian turned to them before speaking- Sooo are you feeling better since yesterday?

Shane: Yeah... I also got a session whit a psychologist outside of town... I'm trying to get better. For you and for Jas.

Ian: Shane you shouldn't be doing this for me, or her. It's for yourself. It's for you to have a good life.

Shane: Mhp... Guess there's a point there.- he said has they got their pizzas they started eating and continued on talking. Shane's on top of the counter, Ian touching it whit his pinky, but when he went to move it over the taller moved it away. It hurt.- I'm sorry I just... It's been one day I don't know if I want to be out about it right now.

Ian: You know when you will own up to it? Cuz people normally don't tell because of what I am...

Shane: It's not about you Ian... I don't want Jas to be made fun of.

Ian: And who would do that? Vincent?

Shane: I guess not.- he sighed- let me tell Marnie first ok? She wouldn't like it if she wasn't the first to hear it.

Ian: Alright...- he added has he moved the chair closer and discreetly moving his hand down, putting it on the other's tight before whispering to him- Is this better?

Shane: Yes...- he added before moving his hand down and holding onto the other's.

Ian: I love you darling... Just don't keep me a secret for long or I'll give you blue balls.- he whispered, chuckling the older doing so has well.

Shane: Seams fair to me... You know- he started a bit louder to not raise suspicions - There's so much I still don't know about you.

Ian: Well fell free to ask.

Shane: I don't want to be invasive by doing so.

Ian: If you go to far I'll tell you.

Shane: Alright... But let's talk in private.

Ian: Not the kind of thing you can speak in public about?- the farmer asked raising an eyebrow.

Shane: Yeah but it's because it's secret.

Ian: Alright I think I get you, let's go.

He added before leaving the bar and walking to his house.
