ONE MONTH LATER
LUCY POV
I think I'm ready. I think tonight's the night. I was ready to "go further" with Ollie. We'd been on what felt like a million dates over the past month, which usually ended in a make out session that got us both all hot and bothered. But he was such a gentleman he always held back and stopped it before it went too far usually leaving me horny and ridiculously frustrated. And I was a bit sick of it. I was ready.
He had invited me over to his house tonight. His brother would be there. Obviously they lived together. But he was meant to be heading to their parents house after dinner and staying the night. Ollie had subtly dropped that in to the conversation about our plans for the night. I think he was starting to get sick of the blue balls too.
I was a bit concerned about Joe. Apart from school, we didn't really see him that often. And any time we'd try to make plans he'd have an excuse to say no or he'd already be busy. I was worried Ollie and I had unintentionally isolated him from the friendship group when we began dating. He needed a girlfriend and then we could double date and have our friend back!
"Sweetheart what time are you coming over this afternoon?" Ollie had called me on my break at work. "Fuck if I ever get out of here hopefully 6ish? I was meant to leave 45 minutes ago but we're swamped." There was a pause on Ollie's end of the phone call. "Ollie I can hear you pouting. I'm trying to get out of here." He huffed in my ear. "I just miss you." "Ew. Gag. Please don't be one of those boyfriends." Yep. We'd started saying boyfriend and girlfriend. We hadn't met each others families yet but I was meeting his brother this afternoon. I heard him chuckle down the phone. "Just hurry up and get here Harris!"
We ended our phone call and I got back to work trying to shorten the line at the bar. Eventually there was a lull and I was able to take off my bar apron and leave. I looked at the clock and realised it was already almost 6. I swore because I still had to get home and shower and get ready before heading over to Ollie's. I sent him a text message to explain.

Just leaving work now. Mad last minute rush. Need to shower and change quickly. Should hopefully get yours by 7-7:30 😘
17:47
Harris you said 6! I'm getting impatient! 😡
17:55
You'll live. I'll get there soon as I can Olls xoxo

Stop texting me and go get ready

No 🖕🏻
After I finished tormenting Ollie via text message I had a super quick shower and got changed in to a pair of jeans with a jumper and my overcoat. It was getting colder in London. I threw some pyjamas, clean underwear and a change of clothes for tomorrow in my overnight bag and then bolted down the stairs from my flat, hailing a cab as it came down the street.
As the taxi drew closer and closer to Ollie's I began to feel intimidated. We were getting in to the "nice" part of the city. The swanky part filled with huge apartments and townhouses. Much bigger than the little flat I shared with Nikki. The taxi pulled up outside Ollie's townhouse and my jaw dropped. Fuck. This place is massive. And REALLY expensive looking.
I pressed the front door bell and I heard feet galloping towards the door from the inside. The door flew open and there stood an Ollie lookalike, but with green eyes instead of blue. "LUCYYY!" This must be Ollie's brother David. He threw his arms around me and picked me up in a bear hug, making me squeak in surprise. I heard a voice over his shoulder. "Oi! Put my girlfriend down you twat!" I heard David chuckle and then he put my feet back on the ground. Ollie smacked him in the back of the head and said "David this is Lucy, sweetheart this is my idiot brother David." "I gathered that." David looked me up and down, grinned at us both and then looked at Ollie. "Bro, you're like MASSIVELY punching above your weight." I laughed and Ollie grinned. "For once I agree with you. Now get the fuck out of the way so she can come inside."
