LUCY POV

It was the 21st of December. My birthday. Ollie, Joe and I had officially finished our first year at LAMDA! 1/3 of the way through! Already!

After Ollies birthday almost 3 months ago, his parents released a statement asking for our privacy and for the judgemental, poorly written article about me to be redacted and for The Sun to issue an apology. To my surprise, The Sun agreed. To apologise to me. Little old, bartender, student, daughter of a mechanic and an aged care nurse, me. I'm guessing it was because the editors of The Sun didn't want to piss of the Blake family. They removed the article from their website and issue a statement that read:

The editors of The Sun would like to issue an apology to the entire Henderson-Blake family, mostly to the girlfriend of Oliver Blake. One of our junior editors passed the article that questioned the nature of Oliver Blake and his girlfriends relationship and made personal comments about her appearance on the night in question.

The Sun sincerely regrets and apologises for any inconvenience of distress caused.

The most bullshit and fake apology but they'd actually done it. Steve, Richards manager, was considering this a big win. The Sun was apparently not known for going back on their word and apologising for inaccurate information.

I was still a bit traumatised from the media's reaction to us having a night out for Ollies birthday back in September, so he had organised drinks with family and a few close friends at his and David's townhouse. I was absolutely bricking it because our parents would meet each other this evening. Our brothers had already met on various nights outs and got along famously.

Ollie wouldn't let me in the house until everything was set up by him and the boys so Nikki and Camille took me out for the day. We had a girly lunch and then went to get our hair and makeup done for the party. I really liked Camille. She seemed to make Joe very happy and I could tell they were really in to each other.

Eventually Nikki received a text from Ollie saying I was allowed to come back to the house. I don't know why he was making such a fuss. It was only my 19th birthday so it wasn't a massive number. I got dressed with Nikki and Camille in mine and Nikki's flat and then we grabbed an Uber to head over to Ollie's to meet the boys.

I'd bought myself a new dress, because why not?! And I knew how much Ollie loved my legs so I knew this one was a winner

The girls and I arrived at Ollie's. I was just about to use the security code on the front door to let's ourselves in when the door was flung open by the man himself. He looked me up and down and said "fuck! It's not MY birthday!" Then he grinned at me. I rolled my eyes at him as Nikki said "Ollie it's the fucking middle of December! Let us in!"

He chuckled and stepped aside to let us in giving me a quick kiss as I passed him. Joe made a beeline for Camille giving her a quick kiss before pulling me in to a bear hug saying "Happy birthday Luce! You're old now!" "Idiot. I'm only a month older than you!" "Ah that's a month and five days Miss Harris. Do your maths again." I flicked him in the centre of the forehead as he giggled at me before handing me a gift bag. "Joe we said no presents!" He simply grinned at me before waving at the bag indicating I should look inside. I opened it up and found a beautiful charm bracelet with two letter A's and a letter P dangling from it. Athos, Aramis and Porthos. The 3 musketeers. Us. I looked up at him and grinned. "Joe it's beautiful! I love it thank you!" He grinned back and gave me another hug.
