LUCY POV
Before I knew it my first 2 weeks at LAMDA had passed. I was loving it. I loved my professors, I loved my class content, I loved the groups of friends I was building, especially with Joe and Oliver. The three of us clicked from day one. We always sat together in class and always completed group work together. Those two boys made me laugh like no one else could and the three of us already had a strong friendship.
JOSEPH POV
2 weeks was gone in the blink of an eye and I was amazed at how quickly I settled in to life at LAMDA. These were my kind of people. The drama queen, artsy, slightly peculiar people. Lucy, Oliver and I had become fast friends from day 1 and the three of us had some incredible banter. I had to admit I had developed a bit of a crush on her though. She was amazing. So beautiful, such a great sense of humour and so quick with comebacks any time Oliver and I began to pick on her. Ok who am I kidding. I was incredibly attracted to this girl already. After 2 weeks. I knew Oliver fancied her. He'd as good as told me so on day 1 and I knew there was no way I could compete with him. He was handsome, witty, more confident than me and after knowing what Lucy and I learned about him this morning I knew I was out of the race.
OLIVER POV
LAMDA was it for me. I was so glad I'd decided to do this and not ride on the coattails of my parents success. I wanted to be known as "Oliver Blake - successful actor". Not "Oliver Blake - son of Sir Richard Blake, successful actor and now knight of the realm of the United Kingdom for his services to the arts and his wife Lady Sarah Henderson-Blake, successful actress". And potentially I wanted to be known as "Oliver Blake - successful actor and boyfriend to Lucy Harris - successful actress". This girl was incredible. She was beautiful obviously, great smile, wicked sense of humour and just great fun to be around. And Joe was quickly becoming one of my closest friends. The three of us clicked at orientation day and then from then on we were quickly becoming an unbreakable trio.
LUCY POV
"Blake you've got some explaining to do!" I walked in to our first lecture of the day with my phone in my hand and waved it in his face. He pulled his head back slightly so he could actually see the screen and his face dropped. "Oh shit." Joe spoke up "what's wrong Luce?" I turned the phone to face Joe and his jaw dropped. "Oliver! Why didn't you tell us?!" "Because I want to do this on my own! I don't want to be known as their kid! I want to do this on my own!" He repeated himself.
What I was waving around on my phone was a news article that had popped up on my Instagram page this morning of newly knighted Sir Richard Blake. The article contained photos of Sir Richard, his wife the now Lady Sarah and their two sons Oliver and David. That's why Oliver looked so damn familiar! He was only Richard Blake and Sarah Henderson-Blake's son!
Richard and Sarah were highly successful actors that had met in the mid 80's working on a movie together. They were also one of those rare, successful celebrity marriages that had lasted for over 20 years with no signs of failing. They raves about each other and their two sons when talking to the media and they clearly had an unshakable bond.
Oliver looked down at his feet and refused to make eye contact with myself and Joseph. I put one finger under his chin and tilted his face up to look at me. "Hey. This doesn't change anything with Joe and I you know? We're still going to make your life hell everyday." He grinned at me and gave me a one armed hug, the other arm going around Joseph as he was sat between us. "Yeah mate we're still going to carry on as normal....just means you're paying for lunch every day!" Oliver let go of me and began to wrestle with Joe as Joe giggled. I rolled my eyes at them and went back to flicking through my Instagram feed waiting for our teacher to arrive.
