LUCY POV
Today was the day. By the end of the day I'd be Mrs Blake. I was getting married today! Surprisingly I wasn't even nervous anymore. I was just ridiculously excited.
I'd woken up this morning, in a hotel room near Sarah and Richards house. The girls and I were getting ready here, the boys were staying at the house. Then Ollie and I would stay here tonight before heading home for one more night and then flying to Australia for our honeymoon!
I was half awake with my eyes still closed when I felt like I was being watched. I opened my eyes to see Nikki, Hannah, Camille and my mum all standing over me with massive grins on their faces. As soon as they saw my eyes open they all broke in to cheers and popped a party popper each.
I grinned up at them. "Morning ladies!" They just erupted in to more cheering and nonsense. Mum randomly started to cry. "Ma what's wrong?" "My baby is getting married!" "Aww Ma!" I pulled her down to me to give her a hug and she cried in to my shoulder.
OLIVER POV
Holy shit. Lucy and I were getting married today. I was going to be a husband. I'd have a wife. A WIFE! I woke up in my old bedroom at mum and dads country house, mum in her dressing gown, sitting on the edge of my bed sipping on a mug of tea. This took me back to being a school kid and her getting me up in the morning. She smiled when I opened my eyes and I instantly saw tears pop up in her blue eyes, the same colour as mine. "Mum what's wrong?" "Nothing Love. Just my little boy is getting married today!"
She put a hand over her face and I heard a sob. "Oh mum!" I say up in bed and pulled her in to a hug. "Are you unhappy?" "No! No absolutely not. Far from it Oliver. I'm ridiculously happy for you love. You'll understand when you have kids of your own."
I heard the boys chanting from downstairs, getting louder as they stomped up the stairs.
You've got to hold and give
But do it at the right time
You can be slow or fast
But you must get to the line
They'll always hit you and hurt you
Defend and attack
There's only one way to beat them
Get 'round the back
Catch me if you can
'Cause I'm the England man
And what you're looking at
Is the master plan
We ain't no hooligans
This ain't a football song
Three lions on my chest
I know we can't go wrong
"Hey lads? I'm getting married. Not competing in the World Cup." They started cheering as they piled on top of me on my bed, mum leaping up so her mug of tea didn't spill on anyone. "Boys try not to break him before he makes it down the aisle".
LUCY POV
I was soaking in a bubble bath, my mum perched on the edge of the tub, holding hers and my glasses of champagne. "How you feeling love?" "Honestly? I just feel excited! I'm barely even nervous!" "That's how I know Ollie is the right one." "Ma?" "Yea love?" "Do you think Ollie and I will be ok?" "What kind of a question is that? Of course I do!"
I adored Ollie with all my heart. But I'd had another sex dream about Joe. It had to be my subconscious playing off what Camille said at my hens party. Right? RIGHT?! I'd barely been able to look him in the eye since the first one three weeks ago!
Lucy for fucks sake. Get it together. He's Ollie's best friend. You had a crush on him four years ago. You're marrying his best friend. I hadn't felt anything until Camille had said that she originally thought he was in love with me at my hens party. Now the idea was stuck in my head.
Move on Harris! You're marrying Ollie today! This was just my stupid brain playing tricks on me.
When I climbed out of my bath it was just in time for the makeup artist and hair stylist to arrive. They started working on the other girls and my mum first before moving on to me. The photographer taking photos the whole time.
