(ENG) Chapter Sixteen - Drunk or Awake

Phana walked with big steps towards his car, Singto tried to chase him while coaxing him, but Pha didn't care.

"Phana listen to me! I can explain it!" Singto pulled his hand but was immediately shoved away by Pha.

"I said, I don't want to hear it!" Pha snapped emotionally, he immediately got into the car and locked the door. Singto tried to bang on the glass and asked Pha to open the door, but he ignored it.

Phana started the engine and run the car, but suddenly Singto jumped in front of the car. Luckily he managed to hit the brakes and at the same time his heart seemed to stop for a moment, but the fire of anger was still burning in Pha's chest. 

He glanced at the rearview mirror for a moment to make sure the back was empty, then reverse the car in speed and swerved the steering wheel sideways, so the car drove past Singto and left.

Singto tried to chase him, but Pha didn't heed him and increased his speed until the car disappeared at the end of the road. Singto finally gave up and froze in the middle of the road breathless, trying to regulate his heartbeat before running back to get the motorbike and catch up with Phana.

But of course, he had lost his track, since he had no choice so he went to Phana's apartment and waited in front of the entrance.

Meanwhile, Phana drives emotionally to a bar looking for a solution to his heartache. He didn't want to believe that after Singto, the second person who broke his heart was Wan. It never occurred to Phana that the girl would betray him, even though their relationship has been pretty good so far, not only in the office but also outside the office.

Phana rented a room so no one would disturb him and ordered several bottles of alcohol and started drinking them one by one.

After his feelings calmed down a bit, he finally realized that he didn't deserve to accuse Wan, because he was also clearly having an affair with Singto. It's undeniable, ever since Singto reappeared, his heart began to betray Wan, and he began to doubt whether he really loved the girl and wanted to marry her. Pha really feels guilty and embarrassed, and Weir's appearance makes it clear that he and Wan cannot continue their relationship.

Phana drank again which made him feel a bit calmer, he seemed to be hallucinating and saw two paths in front of him, the first ending his relationship with Wan and starting over with Singto, and the second fixing his relationship with Wan and ending his relationship with Singto. But he seemed unlikely to choose the second path with Weir around, and besides, he wasn't sure he could leave Singto either.

Pha's head feels heavy and his stomach feels queasy, then staggers to the bathroom and throws up all the liquid in his stomach. After feeling better, he walked back to his seat and refilled his glass, downing his drink, again and again, hoping the alcohol would make him forget everything that happened.

After being heavily drunk, suddenly his cell phone rang, and Singto's name appeared on the screen. Pha immediately pressed the button to answer and spoke unclearly due to the effect of alcohol.

"Where are you, why haven't you come home yet?" asked the person on the phone.

"What do you mean?" Pha said while burping, "I...I'm at home..."

"You're drunk?"

"Er, a bit, I was drinking alone, could you come and keep me company?"

"Okay, send me your address..."

Pha was silent for a moment and replied, "Aw, don't you already know? Do you want to play a trick on me?" he said then laughed.

Singto was silent for a moment before replying, "I've been in front of your house and pressed the bell many times, but you didn't open the door, are you lying?"
