(ENG) Chapter Ten - The Guest

Singto used to come to the temple with his parents to pray and do charity every year on his birthday. That morning the sun was shining brightly and coincidentally it was a Sunday, Singto decided to visit the temple which had been a silent witness to his life for 17 years.

When he stepped into the main hall he accidentally saw Wan who was praying fervently. He again remembered Nittha's confession about Wan, which had given her the idea to change his name. He didn't know whether it was true or not, but seeing Wan's reaction after leaving Phana's room yesterday, made him think that Nittha wasn't lying.

Wan must have felt guilty, that's why he came to the temple to pray, thought Singto. He also guessed that maybe Pha was also around here, so to avoid running into the two of them, Singto canceled his plans and decided to leave the place.

Unfortunately, when he turned around, a man accidentally bumped into him because he was in a hurry and dropped something.

"S-sorry, I didn't do it on purpose!" the man exclaimed in surprise and apologizing to him, then looked down looking for something.

Singto realized that there was something under his shoe and immediately squatted down to pick it up, "Are you looking for this? What is this thing?" he asked curiously, but the man did not answer.

"P'Weir, are you all right?"

At the same time, Singto heard a familiar voice and while looking back in surprise, saw Wan who was walking towards them.

"Singto? Why are you here?" asked the girl in surprise, then glanced at the object in Singto's hand, and immediately snatched it.

"Er, hello," greeted Singto awkwardly, then glanced left and right looking for Phana.

"Wan..." the man who hit Singto called the girl's name, "Sorry to make you wait so long, I just arrived," he said then walked past Singto and approached Wan.

Singto widened his eyes in disbelief and asked himself what was Wan's relationship with that man. He thought that Wan had come with Phana, but it turned out that the girl was waiting for another man. For a moment a flash go through his head, a voice informing him that Wan was having an affair with that man, but he immediately ignored it.

Singto realized that there was something strange about the man, where Wan quickly put a small black device in his ear which turned out to be a hearing aid, and examined his condition with a worried expression.

The man shook his head slowly with a smile saying he was okay and thanked her while fixing the position of his hearing aid in his ear.

Wan then turned to Singto and introduced the man to him, "Let me introduce to you, this is Mr. Kanaros, we came to the temple to pray for the cooperation project to go smoothly."

Singto tried to remember where he had heard that name before and wondered what project Wan was referring to, at the same time a man named Weir reached out to him,

"My name is Weir Kanaros, and I am one of Monday.Inc's client and Wan is my agent as well as a consultant for a new project that I'm launching," he reintroduced himself formally and explained about the project. "By the way, I have a hearing loss, so please understand," he added.

Singto finally remembered, Mr. Kanaros is the name of a client that Wan once mentioned and who made Phana jealous, but he wasn't interested in talking about the project and didn't comment on it.

"Did Phana come with you?" asked Singto to Wan, changing the topic and ignoring the man.

Wan looked surprised and responded by shaking her head. "Please don't tell Phana that you met me here," said the girl.
