(ENG) Chapter Thirteen - Changed of Plan

Singto sat on the bed after changing his clothes and scanned the entire room with anxiety, then walked to the balcony and looked out with empty hope, even though the night sky was filled with stars. He was sure Pha would decide to stay the night and look after the girl.

Suddenly his chest felt congested imagining maybe right now Phana was lying on the bed with Wan or doing something else, but he immediately pushed aside those thoughts and cursed his mind.

An hour passed, and there was no sign of Pha coming home, Singto finally gave up and flopped down on the bed, closing his eyes. He could smell Pha's body on the bed, the scent he missed so much, making his mind unable to calm down.

Suddenly, a notification sound is heard telling him that the cell phone battery is dying. Singto immediately jumped up and checked his phone, but the battery was still 67%, he scanned his surroundings, thinking that Pha had forgotten his cell phone.

Out of curiosity and boredom, he got out of bed and decided to search the entire room, then remembered the direction of the sound, which he assumed came from under the bed.

Singto squatted in front of the bed and pulled open a drawer under the mattress. He was surprised when he found several collections of smartphones from old times to new, besides that there were also piles of books and folders that were thought to contain important documents.

However, Singto's eyes were fixed on two objects that caught his attention, a Nintendo 2DS console and the only cell phone with a red casing. He immediately recognized the casing couple that he chose.

The appearance of the cellphone looked so sad, apart from being worn out, the screen was also cracked, Singto seemed to hesitate for a moment before reaching out to take it, then trying to press the power button to turn it on.

He was surprised to find that the cellphone was still alive and the battery was only 1% low and immediately suspected that the sound of the battery he heard earlier was coming from this cellphone, then asked whether Pha had always charged the battery all this time even though it was not used?

Singto closed his eyes for a moment and tried to remember something, his heart pounded as he entered the password to unlock the screen and it worked. He widened his eyes when he saw the cellphone wallpaper, which was a photo of him and Phana that was taken seven years ago.

He was unable to hold back his tears, and his soul seemed to fly back to that time, but suddenly the screen went out indicating that the battery had died. Singto was furious and rummaged through all the drawers to find a charger, then turned it back on.

After turning it on, he tried fiddling with objects in his hands and was surprised to find the Valentine event application that had not been uninstalled and tried to open it, but unfortunately, the service date had expired.

Next, he opened the gallery and found all the photos and videos taken to complete the quest, as well as all of their videos and photos from February to early May. His tears could not be dammed, he's crying between feelings of happiness and sadness.

While spending the long night, he looked back at the photos and re-watched all the videos in the gallery one by one while crying and laughing to himself like an idiot.

Suddenly he heard the sound of the door being opened and thought that Phana had come home. He quickly returned the Nintendo and cell phone to their original places, then sat awkwardly on the bed, waiting for Phana to enter the room.

"You're still awake?" Pha asked him and closed the door.

"I thought you'd stay the night, is Wan okay?" Singto asked, ignoring the man's question.
