Monday's Office...
Several officers from the government's investigative department came to the Monday Office and reported that some clients had complained about the embezzlement of premium money by an agent. Phana and Wan along with all levels of managers were forced to hold a meeting to discuss this problem.
From the results of the meeting and investigation, Nawash's name was linked as a suspect in the premium embezzlement case, because the clients who became the victims were his responsibility.
The victim was a local resident who had just joined for about 6 -12 months, aged around 55 - 65 years who lived and worked in a nursing home. However, because they do not have a bank account, so they make manual payments by handing over the premium in cash to the responsible agent.
Nawash was then invited to the meeting room and questioned. Phana showed a document containing information on clients who were victims to him. Nawash widened his eyes in surprise and remembered that the clients were references from Nittha.
"Are you sure you never received a premium from them?" asked Phana again.
"Er, no..." Nawash answered nervously.
"The victims reported that they had deposited premiums for three months by paying in installments, but instead they received a letter of suspension of the policy or in other words, their policy status entered a grace period because they did not pay the premium," said Phana reading out the complaint report and showing receipt of premium payment without a signature and fake invoices.
Nawash's eyes widened in shock, "I-I never received the premium from the client," he defended himself.
"Are you sure?"
Nawash didn't answer, his mind going blank because of panic.
"Is there someone else on your behalf to collect the premium?" he asked.
"No..." he answered hesitantly while swallowing hard.
The Finance Manager replied, "Don't you receive notifications that remind you about your clients are in arrears of premiums and doing a follow-up?"
Nawash tried to remember, a few weeks ago he received an incoming notification from the finance department, but he forgot to follow up because he was busy dealing with other client claims and was enthusiastic about prospecting new potential clients.
"I-I plan to do a follow-up this week," Nawash said haltingly and frankly said that he had forgotten because he was busy.
"Even though the receipt of the transfer does not have a signature, there is a Monday.Inc logo and stamp that can be considered valid, while the premium that has been paid does not go into the client's account," said one operational manager and added.
"In this case, the responsible agent is to blame and will accept the consequences, but the company's reputation will be damaged especially the sales marketing department," he said, glancing at Phana.
Phana and Wan exchanged glances and didn't comment, trying to be calm and racking their brains.
While Nawash looked terrified, he had absolutely no idea where the premiums paid by these elderly clients had gone.
Because they couldn't find a solution, the manager board meeting was closed, and Phana asked all agents to gather in his office.

"By the way, has anyone seen Nittha?" asked Wan before starting the meeting.
