(ENG) Chapter Eleven - Events

Singto was studying the claim procedure of a client and was suddenly surprised by Wan who offered him a cup of coffee.

"Can we talk for a minute?" she asked to the point and then invite him to talk on a balcony.

Wan stood beside Singto while leaning on the parapet and immediately said to the point, "I know you must think that I betrayed Phana," guessed the girl.

Singto didn't answer nor did he deny it.

Wan continued, "If I said that there was nothing between Weir and me, would you believe it?"

"I don't know..." Singto replied with his classic answer.

Wan nodded several times and changed the topic, "By the way, do you still remember your first love?"

Singto immediately took a deep breath hearing the question and Pha's face was immediately visualized in his head. He was silent for a moment before responding with a question, "Does that have anything to do with our current conversation?"

Wan didn't answer and changed the topic again, "I met him at an exhibition event three months ago by accident, then I tried to offer him to buy insurance," she said with a smile.

"Are you attracted to him or vice versa?" Singto guessed.

Wan shook his head and replied, "It's like finding a time capsule that I buried years ago, and I'm afraid to open it again..."

"Huh?!" Singto raised his eyebrows in confusion.

Wan smiled and explained, "Long before I met Phana, Weir and I had known each other..." she paused and continued, "In other words, "Weir is my ex."

"What did you say?"

"And my first love..."

Singto immediately froze with a dumbfounded expression, not wanting to believe his ears, but before he could comment the girl interrupted again.

"If you were me, what would you do? Would you open the time capsule or bury it again?"

Singto couldn't answer and felt De Javu, where he was also faced with the same situation as Wan.

"But I don't want to lie, I couldn't forget about him," said Wan and smiled bitterly.

Singto didn't comment, but he could understand the girl's feelings, because he also couldn't forget Phana for seven years, or find someone who could replace Pha's place in his heart, that's why he had never dated until now.

Singto lowered his head and his expression turned gloomy.

"Aw, did I remind you of your first love?" Wan teased him, noticing the change in his expression.

"Huh?" Singto gasped and laughed awkwardly, "I-I've never been on a date," he said nervously.

"I don't believe it."

Singto didn't reply and immediately changed the topic, "Can you answer my question honestly?"

Wan turned to him and raised her eyebrows.

"Do you love Phana?" asked Singto seriously.

Wan paused, then swallowed her saliva and answered hesitantly, "I do..."

"Then you should stop seeing Weir, make it clear to him that you already have a partner by now, and ask him to stop bothering you."

"I can't do that, I owe him!" said Wan.

"Huh?!" Singto exclaimed in disbelief and guessed, "Did you also borrow money from him?"

"What? Of course not!" snapped the girl, "If it wasn't for wanting to save me, Weir wouldn't have lost his hearing," she explained and ended the conversation.
