(ENG) Extra Chapter - One

After getting married, Weir invited Wan to stay in Singapore because he had to manage his business. The news of Wan and Weir's wedding was like a missile that strike the entire Kanaros family house. Both of their parents were shocked. Apart from being still traumatized by the accident that happened to Weir, it turned out that the man was already engaged to a businessman's daughter in Singapore.

But they couldn't do anything, besides the news of their wedding, Wan and Weir also have other good news, which is the arrival of a grandson who was only about twelve weeks old. For this reason, Weir managed to convince his parents to accept Wan.

Even so, the Weir extended family could not fully accept Wan. Still, they were very enthusiastic about welcoming a new family member, so no one dared to abuse Wan or speak harshly to her during pregnancy.

Meanwhile, Phana took Singto to see his mother at a canned food factory after getting information from Weir. They met at a restaurant near the factory, Singto immediately ran to hug his mother with tears in his eyes after not seeing each other for so long.

"Mom, you look thinner, do you live well?" asked Singto worriedly while checking his mother from head to toe.

His mother nodded slowly and replied, "Don't worry darling, I'm fine, it's just that this month the production has increased so we are required to work overtime," his mother explained, trying to convince him.

"But you've never worked hard before, and now you have to work in a factory, you must suffer a lot."

"Don't say that, I'm already used to this condition," said his mother.

Singto shook his head and said, "This is all my fault, if I study well and came home to help Dad take care of the company, then you don't have to go through all this," he sobs regretfully.

"If I didn't just stay at home and learn how to run a company from your father, none of this would have happened," her mother replied, she then turned to Phana and greeted him awkwardly.

"Sorry, I wish I could do something to help," Pha chimed in, remembering his mother who once left him and went to work in China when he was a child.

"I only ask that you take good care of Singto, and never leave him no matter what," his mother pleaded.

Pha nodded in understanding, "By the way, do you want to come home and live with us?"

His mother shook her head and replied, "Right now I'm in the naturalization program, so I can't go back to Thailand for 2 years."

"Aw, you want to change nationality?" asked Singto in shock.

His mother nodded hesitantly, "You're already married, and your father is also gone, so there's no reason for me to go home..." his mother said then took a deep breath, "Don't worry, I can take care of myself, after all, Suphan Buri and Singapore are not that far away, if I have time I will visit you guys."

"But..."

Phana interrupted, "We will come to visit you regularly, and don't worry I will take good care of Singto."

His mother nodded with a smile, "I believe in you, thank you."

After eating, their mother took them on a tour of the factory and introduced them to her work environment. At night she invited the two to visit the small apartment she rented from the remains of her savings.

Phana couldn't bear to see the condition of her apartment and wanted to find a bigger one, but his mother refused, she asked them not to waste money, after all, she only lived alone.

"In the future, if you decide to adopt a child, I hope you don't spoil him too much and have to teach him to be independent!"
