(ENG) Chapter Nineteen - Old and New

The hospital asked Singto for information about Phana's family to take care of hospital registration, but he did not know Pha's family's contact number and did not have a cell phone, so he borrowed the hospital's telephone and called Monday's office.

Not long after, Wan arrived at the hospital accompanied by Weir after receiving a call from Singto. The three of them met in front of the ICU room, where Phana was undergoing intensive treatment due to a head injury.

"What happened?" asked Wan emotional when he saw Singto, "How could he have an accident? Didn't he go looking for you?!" asked the girl while gripping Singto's shirt.

Singto didn't answer because he was still in shock and his face was wet with tears, regretting his decision to leave Phana.

"If anything happens to Phana, I will never forgive you!!!" threatened Wan as she hit Singto's chest with emotion.

Seeing that, Weir immediately pulled the girl away from Singto and tried to calm her down. Wan sobbed while hugging Weir, worrying about Pha's condition.

Singto didn't pay attention to the girls and kept praying silently, if something happened to Phana, he couldn't forgive himself either.

"I shouldn't have let him go and hold him down..." Wan sobbed regretfully, "This is all my fault..."

Weir hugged her tightly without commenting, letting the girl express all her emotions, he had not expected things to turn out like this and felt responsible.

Moments later, a nurse came and handed Phana's personal belongings to Wan and asked her to take care of the hospital registration procedures. Wan tried to calm down for a moment before leaving the ICU hall with Weir.

After waiting for more than two hours, finally, a doctor walked out and reported Phana's optimistic condition to the three. Luckily Phana had time to slow down and brake before crashing into a tree, so he wasn't seriously injured.

There are cuts and bruises on the front of the head due to the hard impact on the steering wheel, causing blood vessels under the skin to burst and enter the brain, so they must be treated immediately before clots form.

As if getting oxygen again, Wan and Singto immediately breathed a sigh of relief hearing the good news about Pha's condition. But they had to wait until the transfer process was complete before being allowed to visit the man.

While waiting, Weir offers the two a drink and asks Singto about the chronology of the accident. Singto was stunned for a moment and turned to the man, he seemed to hesitate before telling the whole chronology he saw.

"If he hadn't gone looking for you, none of this would have happened!" Wan snapped all of a sudden with emotion while glaring at Singto. "I thought I could trust you, but it turns out you stabbed me in the back!" she pointed. "Are you helping me with the intention of destroying my relationship with Phana?!"

Singto turned to the girl with a shocked expression, "I-I don't understand what you mean?"

"Why did you leave Pha's apartment and leave a note?" Weir chimed in. "What happened after you left the restaurant?"

Singto's heart fluttered at Weir's question and guessed that the two of them must have come to Phana's apartment and wondered what they knew.

"I-I found Pha drunk at a bar and took him home..." Singto replied nervously and swallowed hard as he remembered what they did after that, "I don't want you to think that I want to destroy your relationship with Pha, that's why I decided to leave and return to Bangkok..."

"You expect me to believe it?!" snapped Wan, "Then tell me, haven't you guys been playing with fire behind me all this time?"

Singto closed his mouth tightly, unable to answer and not deny it, then looked down deeply, regretting everything that happened.
