Short chapter incoming! Sorry, these just gimme more motivation to write longer ones later on!

Mattheo flinched when we heard the door to the owlery open. We both turned around to see who was there, feeling extremely embarrassed. His hand was still frozen behind my head and around my waist. I almost screamed. Loren walked in and his eyes widened immediately when he saw us both. His face dropped and he just brushed pass us as he went to an owl. Me and Mattheo just stayed awkwardly still as he gave the letter to an owl. Once the owl flew off, he sighed before leaving, brushing into my shoulder on his way out.

"Fuck, that was weird," I retort. Mattheo just rolls his eyes before smiling again.

"Look," he held but of my hands while he looked down at our hands. "I can't thank you enough for this. Truly."

"Stop saying thank you!" I commanded. " I told you, it's the bare minimum!"

He shook his head at my answer. "You're amazing Snow, truly. You're a quick thinker."  He squeezes my hand reassuringly before bidding me goodbye.

What did I do to get so lucky?

An hour later

I was just sitting in the common room, listening to music while fiddling my pen. I was supposed to be writing a letter for a junior scholarship program and Hogwarts, but instead I was staring in space, thinking about the most random shit. Someone nudged my shoulder and I looked around to see who it was. Harry was behind me, a serious expression on his face.

"The extra defense against the dark arts class thing, the first meeting is at the abandoned  Hogsmeade building at 12 PM tomorrow." He looked around to make sure no one was there to see the awkward interaction and left.

Finally! I thought. We were freaking doing something about this!

I was about to leave in excitement until Harry came back and whispered, " for everyone's safety, we agreed, NO SLYTHERINS!"

Sorry for the long wait! And for the short chapter lol- Longer one next time! Happy New Year guys!
