5000 word coming out soon 🤧
Also ty for all the comments, i swear, they literally make my day.
As I was told, at 12 PM exactly, I got a package in the mail. I was tired, probably high, and nowhere near my peak sanity. I picked up the package, and it is so light. So light that I feel as if it is filled with merely air. On the front, something is scribbled on: an address. School was starting in a week, and I barely had time to prepare, so I immediately went. It was behind the coffee shop I worked out.
The sun was still beating down while I was walking to the coffee shop. I didn't go inside, since the address that was scribbled on it was technically BEHIND, the coffee shop. I got an eerie feeling, shiver through me. It chilled me to my spine. I kept my silver dagger safe in my pocket and my wand as well. I made slow, hesitant steps into the alley. I was shocked and dropped the package in horror when I saw death eaters there.
And no, there weren't one or two, no, there were AT LEAST seven.
"What the fu-" All of them turned around simultaneously. It was so in sync, that I felt as if they weren't human. I take the package out of my pocket and hold it forward. "One of you is going to have to step forward and get it." The death eaters glanced at each other before one stepped forward, holding out a hand. The moment he was within a 2 feet radius, he snatched it from my hand and carefully stepped back. A sharp feeling of fear rushed through my spine when I my back hit someone's front. I looked behind and saw a death eater, menacingly tall. "What is this?" I asked. The death eaters started closing in. Damn you, Tyler. "I gave you what you needed, now let me go!"
All the death eaters snickered and murmured terrible things to each other. "You really think this opportunity would happen JUST so we could pick up a package from you? We have death eaters all around the world, we could've easily asked one of them, but no. Word spread that your senses aren't as sharp as they once were. An opportunity struck, and we took it." Shit- how could I miss this? I wasn't even feeling worried, I was more feeling concern over how I, of ALL people could've missed this. Well, since I was dumb before, maybe I can attempt to make a halfway smart decision RIGHT now. If I took my wand out right now, they would immediately expel it from me. Instead, I crouch down, pretending as if I'm giving him. They all keep coming closer until... I unleash a spell that knocks over the three grouping between me.
"Reducto!" I spell towards a cluster of death eaters. The death eaters quickly begin flashing and going away in a quick spread of black. They didn't even stay for a fight. I look down at myself, disappointed at how I could miss something so obvious. That's it, I'm going to England early. As soon as I reach home, shivering for whatever reason, I throw all my books and clothes into my trunk and book a flight to England for 6 PM.
Somehow, through all that, I remember I need to go say goodbye to Sky and Adalie. At least I'm able to remember one thing through my fogged up brain. I travel through the streets. A spell has my trunk following me, it's invisible of course. As soon as I reach his apartment I continuously knock on his door.
"Chill the fuck out, I'm coming!" He opens the door and his eyes widen in surprise when he sees me. "H-hey?" He quickly greets me with a hug before inviting me inside. "What's so urgent?"
"I'm leaving."
"What?"
"Well, not like that. I'm going to England a week early, I just need to clear my head. I came to say goodbye." I give small smile before sitting down on his couch. "To you and Adalie. And this time I'll be sure to mail you more."
He sits down next to me, a slightly surprised look on his face. "You better!" He sits down, staring in space for a minute. "Adalie!" He calls out. Her small figure comes out and she gives a small smile when she sees me.
"Hey." She comes by and sits next to me. "What're you doing here?"
"I'm leaving. To go back to school. I wanted to say goodbye."
"Oh-" She looked down at her hands and didn't say anything else.
"I know we had plans, Adalie. But I promise you, I'll be in touch. I'll be back for break if possible. Is that alright?" She looked up and nodded before giving me a very brief hug. "Goodbye, Adalie."
"Goodbye, Snow." She stood up and went back to her room. I sigh, feeling as if something was crushing down on me.
"Well my flight's at six, I should go." I turned around and gave Sky one last look of goodbye, before leaving. As soon as I step out of his apartment, I feel as if a wave of tears are about to hit me. I go to the airport, crying. Crying over the loss of my old life.
So uhm... Before I wrote the first book of this series, I had a VERY...VERY bad draft on google docs and let's just say you guys would be FLABBERGASTED at how different it is from the first book. It is so bad... I wanna go to the past and punch my past self for making that shit. Like the ending I wrote made zero sense since Snow had no anger for Mattheo whatsoever. And when I mean cringe... I mean CRINGE! Half of it doesn't even make sense.
But uhm...if you guys wanna see it MAYBE i'll put it out the link... MAYBE!
