"Horcrux cave? Well that's a rather creative name," I retort. Dumbledore chuckles, as the three of us stand in the front of the mouth of the cave. Of course, I didn't feel too confident going into this situation. Who knows if I'll be coming out completely sane?

Harry glances at Dumbledore, as if waiting for him to tell us to head inside. "Professor Dumbledore..." He hesitantly says, not wanting to break his concentration.

"Let's go in," Dumbledore says, his voice completely calm and free of any worry.

I sigh, trying not to reveal the tightening feeling in my chest. Dumbledore leads is into the mouth of the cave, where we notice a wall that prevents us from going in further. He flicks a knife out of his robs, slicing it through his deformed hand, and smearing it across the wall of the cave. It opens, shaking violently and rumbling. I hesitantly step inside of the cave, following Harry and Dumbledore in front of me.

"It's going to get very dangerous from this point," Dumbledore warns. "Prepare yourselves."

There is utter silence as Harry and I soak in the experience, truly understanding now how severe the situation must be to the rest of the wizarding world, and how powerful a horcrux must be that there is this much protection for one thing. I slip on my feet, as the cave walls are wet, yelping as I fall on my back. Harry holds back a laugh, to which I simply scowl. All that disappears when we approach a suspicious looking bowl, with a clear liquid looking similar to water, and a bowl like thing.

Dumbledore inhales deeply, as he stands over the bowl. "In order to reach the horcrux," he begins, "I must drink all of this," he explains. He looks at both of us, much more serious now than he was before. "It will not be pleasant, and I may fall. I may faint. I may beg you to stop be from drinking it. I may even forget why I'm here. But no matter how terrible it gets, you must ensure I finish the whole thing."

"But Professor-" Harry begins.

"There's no other way," Dumbledore sharply intervenes. If you don't do this, Voldemort will win," he says.

That is enough to convince Harry. We both stand next to him, glancing at each other in worry. Dumbledore picks up the bowl, scooping up the liquid in it, and bringing it to his lips with no hesitation. As soon as the entire liquid enters his mouth, he convulses and yells in pain. His eyes are already squinted and are threatening tears. He shivers, bringing another bowl to his mouth, this time screaming in pain, and falling to the ground, convulsing in pain.

"No more," he groans, as his eyes redden and spew tears.

"Hold him," I say. Harry holds Dumbledore in place as much as he can against his struggling body as I fill up the bowl. "I'm so sorry," I strain my voice, as I hold is face up and force him to choke down the water. "I'm so sorry," I cry as I see the weakness in his body and the desperation in his face.

"Why are you making me do this?" He pleads, breaking down as I force another bowl into his throat.

"You told us, remember?" Harry says in a panic. "You're doing this to protect the world, to protect us!" Harry tries. Dumbledore calms down slightly, but still contorts in pain everytime I force down the painful liquid down his throat.

"Last one!" I try to say encouragingly, finally sighing in relief as it goes into his mouth.

"I found it!" Harry says, pulling out a necklace. We both look at Dumbledore, who is on the ground, still in a daze.

"Water..." he whispers. Harry quickly goes to the bowl, casting a spell to get water in the bowl. As it appears, he uses the bowl to pick it up, but it simply doesn't go in.

"It keeps falling out!" He yells, trying over and over again. I scramble, looking around the cave and noticing a lake.

"There's a lake!" I exclaim, pointing behind Harry. "I'll get it, stay with Dumbledore!" I grab the bowl from his hand hastily, and run to the lake, trying to get some water in it. I shriek when it drops out of my hand.

I scream, grabbing my wand and trying to ward of the sea creatures that were beginning to attack me.

"Sectumsempra!" I hear. My mouth widens in shock. Never have I heard that spell, but hearing the words, I know it's a cruel one. I don't have the time to question him, however, as I help him in warding off the monsters. But the numbers keep on increasing every second, and it's clear we won't be able to hold them off for long.

That is until a flash of light causes both Harry and I to fall backwards into the water. Struggling, I manage to get to the shore to see Dumbledore fighting off all the monsters. Even in his weakened state, it was bewildering to see him in such a powerful and concentrated way.

He looks at the two of us. "Let's get out of here."
