Hyunjin just stared at the messages.

Hospital?

"Hey Hyunjin, are you listening?" Yeji asks. "Let me see!"

She takes the phone from his hand. Surprisingly enough he didn't take it back and fight like usually, which made her worry a little.

She looked away from Hyunjin and started to read the messages, her eyes widening slowly.

She looked at her brother who had tears in his eyes, at the edge of falling.

She didn't know what to say, so she just read the messages over and over again, not believing it.

"In the hospital..." she whispered to herself.

Those words made Hyunjin let his tears fall, trying to not make any noise.

Yeji also got tears in her eyes, scared and worried for both Felix and Hyunjin.

Hyunjin accidentally sobbed out loud and couldn't keep silent anymore. He fully broke down, making his parents worried for him.

"Hyunjin? Oh dear, are you okay?" Mrs. Hwang worriedly asks him as Mr. Hwang found a spot to park the car.

Yeji gave Mrs. Hwang Hyunjin's phone, showing her the messages. She took out her glasses and started reading them, eyes widening as she reads them all, one after one.

"Oh oh oh....Hyunjin..." she gave the phone back to Yeji and looked at Hyunjin.

"What happened?" Mr. Hwang asked, who'd been busy parking the car.

"His boyfriend....is in the hospital..." Yeji whispered the last part, her voice breaking.

"Oh..." Mr. Hwang looked over at Hyunjin, who was crying his heart out.

As Hyunjin about Felix's mental state and everything that's been bugging him lately, absolutely anything could've happened.

⚠️MENTION OF DEATH⚠️

He could be dead by now.

That thought only made Hyunjin cry more.

"Shh...shhh..." Yeji tried to calm her brother down before he passed out. "Hey...it isn't neccesarily anything serious!"

Hyunjin couldn't fully hear her words.

"Hey, do you want to go home?" Mr. Hwang asks. "I could give a ride."

Hyunjin nods shakily and tries to calm down.

"I'll go with you." Yeji says.

"Me too." Mrs. Hwang also says.

"Back to Seoul it is then" Mr. Hwang mumbles and starts driving back.

TIME SKIP~

Hyunjin had finally calmed down as they were at the right hospital.

"I got the room and everything, I texted chan on the way here" Yeji said.

"Okay..." Hyunjin was exhausted enough so he could just faint, but he was determinded to see if Felix was okay.

Yeji quickly fixed so they could go see Felix. Luckily enough he weren't bottom floor, which meant he weren't dead.

"Here it is..." Yeji stopped at room 342.

She lightly knocked on the door before slowly opening it.

Hyunjin looked up and saw Chan sitting beside a bed. He didn't dare look at the bed, he was so scared he would see Felix all bandaged up or even worse, in a coma or something.

"Hey Hyunjin" Chan said, getting up to hug the tired boy. Hyunjin didn't have any energy to hug back, so he just rested his chin on Chan's shoulder.

"Hyunjin?"

Hyunjin's eyes widen.

Despite being scared of looking at the bed, he looked up.

And there he sat, the one he was so worried for.

They had eyecontact for who knows how long before one of them spoke.

"Come here" Felix smiled.

He looked so pale. You could easily see his freckles now, if you didn't before.
His right arm and shoulder were under some piece of cloth, indicating it was either badly hurt or just being kept warm.

Hyunjin hoped for the last one.

"Are you just going to stare at me?" Felix chuckled. "Take a photo, it will last longer"

"Now don't you dare say that again." Hyunjin gave a joking-serious look.

Felix raised his left arm, wanting a hug.
Hyunjin immideatly walked up to him and hugged him tightly but also carefully. Felix felt so fragile in his arms, like he would break any second if he wasn't careful.

"Hyunjin was worried pale" Yeji said, feeling a bit jealous of how lovey-dovey they were.

"So were you" Hyunjin teased and let go of Felix.

"They both were very worried, but especially Hyunjin." Mrs. Hwang explained.

"And you are...?" Felix asked in confusion.

"Oh I'm Mrs. Hwang and this is my husband, but just call us mom and dad" she smiled.

"Moom~" Hyunjin whined. Mrs. Hwang only smiled.

"Nice to meet you, mom and dad" Felix chuckled.
