Felix slowly opened up his eyes, blinking at the bright light that was shining in his eyes. He could feel his left hand cuffed to the bed.

He took in a deep inhale of breath and released it. He needed to stay calm and keep his heartbeat a normal rate

They didn't know he was awake yet

"Is he still in dream state?"

A few click of buttons, the scrape of a metal stool and the unclick of his wrist

"Yes sir, heartbeat is stable" a female voice rushed to say through the intercom.

Felix slowed his erratic heartbeat, trying his best not to throw his cover away. They didn't know he was awake, he needed to use it to his full advantage.

"No sign of detachment?"

"No sir, his brain seems to believe that everything is true" the female voice responded through the intercom and the man by his side hummed satisfied

"And the rest of the gang?"

"Still looking for them sir"

Felix heard the stool scrape backwards and footsteps getting softer and softer until the door opened and closed. He knew very well he couldn't open his eyes to check his surroundings , as he was being checked out 24/7

He had no idea where he was, but he vaguely remembers shouting at Changbin to get down and then bullets flung through the air.

He felt at the bedsheets, moving his pinky as discretely at he could while still keeping his heartbeat normal. The sheets were soft underneath his touch, and he wasn't cuffed anywhere else

Essentially he was free to go

Felix patted around the bed to try and figure out if there was something he could use, trying to feel if he still had on his clothes or if they had changed him when he was brought in

His hazy mind was clearing up the more his brain started to realize it was no longer in major danger.

He could hear the beeping of a machine to his left and figured that it must be one that's monitoring his heartbeat at the moment.

His head was pounding, it felt like a wrecking ball had made it's home his frontal lobe and he really felt the need to open up his eyes but he knew he couldn't.

It was such a nagging feeling, but he knew that the team was safe, he knew they were still somewhere unseen and somewhere where nobody knew were they were, and that was all that kept him steady at the moment.
